In the outer surface () of the bearing housing (), there is formed at least one groove () for disrupting the flow generated by the rotating rear wall ().

An exhaust-gas turbocharger () having a housing () which comprises a turbine housing (), a bearing housing () and a compressor housing (); and having a cooling device () which is integrated at least in the turbine housing () and which has a cooling device inlet (), wherein a coolant swirling device () is arranged at the cooling device inlet ().

An exhaust-gas turbocharger () with 2-channel turbine inflow, including a housing (), a shaft () mounted in the housing (), a compressor wheel () arranged on the shaft () and a turbine wheel () arranged on the shaft (), and a first and a second inflow duct () formed in the housing (). Both inflow ducts () open in the direction of the turbine wheel (). A partition () separates the two inflow ducts () from one another. At least one water-cooling duct () is provided in the interior of the partition ().
