In an embodiment, an integrated circuit (IC) device is disclosed. In the embodiment, the IC device includes a load modulation module, a current source coupled to the load modulation module, an interface to a resonant circuit, the interface coupled to the load modulation module and the current source, and an interface to a charge source, the interface coupled to the current source, wherein the load modulation module is configured to provide a signal for transmission by modifying the load through the load modulation module, and wherein the current source is configured to provide a signal for transmission by generating pulses of current.

Integrated circuit device and method for dual-mode transponder communication

In one embodiment, a circuit, having a single supply, is provided to transmit a wireless signal with low common mode electromagnetic interference (EMI) emission. The circuit can achieve common mode attenuations of 40 dB or greater as a result of the symmetric built circuit. Also included is a system that includes a transmission circuit and a receiver circuit, and a method of using such a system.

3-level bridge driver with single supply and low common mode EMI emission

A driver circuit for driving a resonance circuit is disclosed. The driver circuit includes an input to receive an input signal, an amplifier to amplify the input signal, a pulse generator to generate a pulse train based on a modulation signal, a switch coupled to the pulse generator, a capacitor coupled to the switch in parallel such that when the switch is on, the capacitor is bypassed and a Resistor-Inductor-Capacitor (RLC) tank circuit coupled to the switch and the capacitor such that the capacitor is connected in series to capacitance of the RLC tank circuit.

Efficient driver circuit

An immobilizer device is configured for communicating with a base station. The immobilizer device includes an antenna circuit including three orthogonally-oriented antennas configured to receive a signal from a field generated by a base station. A power circuit is configured to draw power via the field on each of the antennas, and a communications circuit is configured to communicate with the base station via any of the antennas. The strength of the signals received via the antennas is evaluated and used to select one of the antennas for use in data communications and, if appropriate, as a power supply.
