Techniques are described for performing estimations based on image analysis. In some implementations, one or more images may be received of at least portion(s) of a physical object, such as a vehicle. The image(s) may show damage that has occurred to the portion(s) of the physical object, such as damage caused by an accident. The image(s) may be transmitted to an estimation engine that performs pre-processing operation(s) on the image(s), such as operation(s) to excerpt one or more portion(s) of the image(s) for subsequent analysis. The image(s), and/or the pre-processed image(s), may be provided to an image analysis service, which may analyze the image(s) and return component state information that describes a state (e.g., damage extent) of the portion(s) of the physical object shown in the image(s). Based on the component state information, the estimation engine may determine a cost estimate to repair and/or replace damaged component(s).

Estimation using image analysis

A system and process for using telematics data to determine a vehicle operator. Telematics data is captured from a telematics device which retrieves data from a vehicle associated with a plurality of vehicle operators. A driver electronic signature is determined from the captured telematics data and then compared to determined driver signatures stored in memory and associated with the vehicle from which the telematics data is captured. A vehicle operator is then determined from comparing the determined driver signature with driver signatures stored in memory.

Telematics system, apparatus and method

Techniques are described for analyzing data regarding users and purchasable items, and providing user experiences to users regarding the buying, leasing, and/or selling of item(s), the history of item(s), and/or other services associated with the item(s). Data may be analyzed by a data engine that provides output to power multiple user experiences (e.g., user interfaces). Such user experiences may include providing a user with recommendation(s) of items that may be of interest to the user. Recommendations may be determined using one or more algorithms, such as a content-based, criteria-based, and/or collaborative algorithm. The recommendation(s) may be presented to the user through a search user interface.

Data engine for graph based analysis

A computer system and method for performing predictive analytics on telematics data regarding an entity. The computer system having a memory configured to store instructions and a processor disposed in communication with the memory. The processor upon execution of the instructions is configured to receive telematics data regarding an entity and analyze the received telematics data to identify a pattern of behavior. A behavioral conclusion and/or meaning is then determined for the entity based on analysis of the received telematics data.

Systems and methods for utilizing telematics data

A method or system may comprise generating a plurality of routes to a destination of a vehicle. Traversal, by the vehicle, of a route may be determined by a telematics device. The telematics vehicle may be configured to monitor a location of the vehicle and motion of the vehicle. The telematics device may be configured to generate data associated with the traversal of the route, the location of the vehicle, or the motion of the vehicle. Driving behavior of the vehicle may be determined, based at least on the data. A rating associated with the vehicle or the traversal of the route may be determined, based at least on the driving behavior. A risk score may be determined for the route. The rating may be determined, based at least on the risk score. The rating may be determined, based at least on the driving behavior.

Insurance policy management using telematics

A system and method for providing routing based insurance using a telematics route tracking device to receive data relating to traversal of a user route. The received telematics data is processed to determine risk related to the route, related external factors, and user driving behavior. An insurance policy pricing module is utilized to generate insurance policy price data to modify pricing effects.
