A damper assembly comprises a housing disposed on a center axis and defining a fluid chamber for containing a working fluid. A piston is slidably disposed in the fluid chamber dividing the fluid chamber into a compression chamber and a rebound chamber. A piston rod attaches to the piston for moving the piston in the housing. The piston includes a first portion and a second portion defining a first perforation. An outer sleeve has an exterior surface and an interior surface and extends between the first portion and the second portion covering the first perforation. The piston includes a first entry valve and a second entry valve located in the piston and coupled to the piston for limiting the working fluid from flowing into the piston with the first entry valve being disposed adjacent the first portion and the second entry valve being disposed adjacent the second portion.

Damper assembly and a piston for a damper assembly

A hydraulic damper () includes a first piston body member (), a second piston body member (), a third piston body member (), and a compression stroke disc assembly () compressed at a radially inner side thereof between the first () and said second () piston body members. The hydraulic damper includes a rebound stroke disc assembly () compressed at the radially inner side thereof between the second () and third () piston body members, and the compression stroke disc assembly () additionally includes an annular supporting member () positioning discs (-) of the compression stroke disc assembly () at radially inner side thereof, while a radially inner axial passage () is defined at the radially inner side of the supporting member ().

Hydraulic damper

A hydraulic damper () includes at least one spring valve assembly () having a body () provided with through flow channels (), at least one deflectable disc () covering these through flow channels (), and a supporting member () fixed to an axial member for clamping the at least one disc () at the inner circumferential part thereof. A spring seat () is disposed around the supporting member () and abuts the at least one deflectable disc () in at least one radial position () at the outer circumferential part thereof. A spring () is preloaded between the spring seat () and the supporting member (). The spring seat () includes at least one axial projection () perimetrically engaging the at least one disc (), and a circular gap () is provided between the spring seat () and the supporting member ().
