The disclosure describes an electromechanical rear derailleur for coaxial mounting on a rear wheel axis. The rear derailleur has a base member, a pivot mechanism, a movable member having a chain guiding arrangement, and an electromechanical drive for driving the pivot mechanism. The pivot mechanism connects the base member to the movable member. The chain guiding arrangement is connected to the movable member for rotation about an axis of rotation. The base member comprises a first connection end, which can be mounted coaxially with the rear wheel axis, and a second connection end for coupling with the pivot mechanism.

Electromechanical rear derailleur for coaxial mounting

The invention relates to an electromechanical derailleur for mounting on a rear wheel axis. The derailleur has a stationary element, a pivoting mechanism, a movable element having a chain guide arrangement, and a gearing housing. The gearing housing receives an electromechanical drive for driving the pivoting mechanism. The stationary element defines a housing void in which the gearing housing is disposed, and has a fastener for a power source. The power source is fastened to the stationary element such that said power source is electrically connected to the electromechanical drive in the gearing housing.

Electromechanical derailleur

An Actuating device for a bicycle is provided. The actuating device may include a static element which is positionally fixed in relation to a bicycle frame, a movable element which is movable in relation to the static element, an electromechanical drive which provides drive force for a movement of the movable element. The electromechanical drive has a motor and a gearing driven by the motor. The gearing may include a first gearing wheel and a second gearing wheel which is in engagement with the first gearing wheel.

A drive arrangement for a bicycle may include a plurality of sprockets arranged at a rear wheel of the bicycle. The sprockets may be particularly arranged to have a spacing that facilitates the configuration of an increasing number of sprockets in the plurality of sprockets. A singular front sprocket or chainring may be used to drive the rear plurality of sprockets. A particularly configured tool may be used to configure the drive arrangement.

The invention relates to a guide wheel for a rear derailleur in a bicycle gear system for guiding a chain, including an annular wheel body with a central opening for rotatable bearing about a rotational axis of the guide wheel. The guide wheel includes a plurality of radially projecting teeth that are arranged on an outer circumferential surface of the wheel body. A tooth gap is arranged between each adjacent pair of teeth, individual teeth in the area of a root circle of the gear teeth having a predetermined tooth width matched to the chain. For improving the guiding properties, it is provided that the guide wheel has on at least some of the tooth gaps in the area near a tooth gap base and/or on at least some of the teeth at least one guide segment with a greater width than the tooth width of at least one of the adjacent teeth.

A chain guide of a bicycle derailleur for displacing a chain between gears that includes inner and outer side plates, a pivot shaft and a thermoplastic connector. The pivot shaft pivotably connects the chain guide to the bicycle derailleur. The thermoplastic connector injection molds the pivot shaft to one of the inner and outer side plates.

Bicycle derailleur

A bicycle shifter configured to be adjustable to accommodate a variety of sized hands. The shifter includes a housing, a cable spool for pulling and releasing a control cable, pull and cable release lever mechanisms and a clamp for mounting the shifter to a handlebar. The cable pull lever mechanism includes a cable pull lever and a driver element operatively connected to the cable spool. The release mechanism includes a cable release lever. The cable pull lever is attachable to the driver element at various orientations to vary the position of the cable pull lever relative to the cable release lever. The clamp is attachable to the shifter housing at different positions to vary the pull and cable release levers relative to the handgrip element on the handlebar.

Bicycle shifter

A cable adjustment device for a Bowden cable having a control cable displaceable within a cable casing for a bicycle component. The adjustment device includes a guide element axially and rotationally fixed to the bicycle component and has a control cable bore therethrough. An adjustment element is rotationally fixed and axially displaceable in the guide element. The adjustment element has an abutment for engaging the cable casing. The adjustment device also includes an actuation element. The adjustment element is threadably coupled relative to the actuation element for converting the rotational movement of the actuation element into the axial movement of the adjustment element.

Cable adjustment device

A bicycle derailleur is provided with a parallelogram link that is sufficiently rigid axially to maintain the distance between the link pivot axes during derailleur actuation but substantially flexible in torsion and shear to permit simple alignment of the pivot holes and control of the link width during formation and assembly of the link, thereby ensuring smooth operation of the derailleur during gear shifts.
