The invention provides antibodies, and antigen-binding fragments thereof, that specifically bind to CXCR5. The antibodies can be afucosylated and exhibit increased ADCC compared with the otherwise identical fucosylated antibodies. The invention includes uses, and associated methods of using the antibodies.

Anti-CXCR5 antibodies and compositions and uses thereof

The present disclosure relates to in vivo methods for producing anti-idiotypic antibodies. In some aspects, anti-idiotypic antibodies are generated by co-administering to a mouse a first antibody having a murine IgG2a isotype and a second antibody that targets mouse B cells and has a murine IgG2a isotype. In some embodiments, the mouse expresses the Igh-1allele of IgG2a, and the second antibody binds a mouse B cell surface marker selected from the group consisting of CD19, CD20, CD21, CD22, CD40, CD45, IgM, and IgD.

Rapid generation of anti-idiotypic antibodies

An apparatus is disclosed for controlling water flow into a reservoir such as a farm pond () to prevent silting of the pond due to sediment deposits during heavy rains. A gate assembly () has a reservoir gate () to let water into the pond when the water is clear and block water flow into the reservoir when the water is sediment laden. The assembly () also has a diverter gate () which opens to allow the turbid flow to flow around the pond in a diverter channel () The gates work in opposite directions so that the water flow is either permitted into the reservoir or diverted around the pond in the diverter channel. A turbidity detector () upstream of the gate assembly senses the turbidity of the water to control the gate assembly. The apparatus is preferably powered by a battery recharged by a solar cell. The battery can be buried underground to resist overheating of the battery.
