Representative embodiments disclose a browser plug-in designed to conserve bandwidth, power or computing resources. The plug-in identifies links in a web page that retrieve additional data. In some embodiments, the additional data is retrieved and examined to obtain an identifier associated with the data. The identifier is then used to determine a course of action which could be to block the data, move the data or ask that future data comply with the interests of the user. The web page is rendered and displayed in accordance with the decision. In other embodiments, prior to receiving data, the browser plug-in sends information to identify data of interest or disinterest and in response, receives data chosen based on the interest or disinterest, thus refraining from downloading irrelevant data. In still other embodiments, prior to receiving the data, the browser plug-in sends information indicating the data will not be retrieved.

A data protector is described. In an implementation, the data protector promotes and enforces a data retention policy of a data consumer. In an implementation, the data protector limits access to sensitive data to the data consumers. A key manager provides a time-limited encryption key to the data protector. Responsive to collection of the time-limited encryption key from the key manager and sensitive data from a data provider, the data protector encrypts the sensitive data with the time-limited encryption key effective to produce encrypted sensitive data. In some embodiments, the data protector provides a data consumer with access to the encrypted sensitive data and the key manager provides the data consumer with access to the time-limited encryption key to decrypt the encrypted sensitive data. The key manager deletes the time-limited encryption key in compliance with the data retention policy of the data consumer.

Embodiments are configured to provide browsing and other functionality that can be used to provide viewable data based in part on a current viewable space of a browser interface, but the embodiments are not so limited. In an embodiment, components of a system can operate to communicate viewable data to a browser engine based in part on a configuration of the browser engine and/or a display architecture. In one embodiment, a computing device includes a browser application that can be used to provide data associated with viewable portions of a browser display, wherein the provided data can be used to monetize advertising revenue according to monetization and/or advertising requirements.

Browsing and quality of service features

A camper shell kit including a plurality of removable panels that are individually mountable onto a frame is herein disclosed. The frame serves as the skeleton for the shell and also provides a base for an optional top-mounted rack. Each panel may be mounted individually to the frame to create customized camper shell configurations. Panel insertion may not require the use of tools. Panels can be interchanged with others made of different materials for specific tasks. The frame may be integrated to match the shape of the truck and provide flush mounting for shell panels offering a smooth, integrated appearance with the vehicle. The frame mounts directly onto standard truck bed mount points which may provide maximum strength and load-bearing capacity. The frame permits the panels to be locked into place providing security for the payload against theft.
