Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may extract and concentrate essential elements plant matter. An amount of wasted heat energy collected from a engine that powers an electrical generator may be provided to an evaporation or separation process when electrical power is provided to extraction or separation processing equipment. Computers or electronics that control equipment consistent with the present disclosure may be remotely controlled via a mobile electronic device, when desired. Such computers or electronics may receive sensor data related to the operation of plat matter extractors, related separation equipment, or other equipment may be used to manage a production line. As such, methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may extract essential elements from cannabis plant matter and process those essential elements into cannabis extracts or isolates.

Method and apparatus for sharing co-generated energy when processing essential elements derived from plant matter

The present disclosure includes a nozzle and methods for using the nozzle in ways that may increase the efficiency of extraction of essential elements from plant matter. The nozzle may also be used to increase the efficiency of drying solvent saturated plant matter after an extraction has been completed. The nozzle may include an elongated tube with a plurality of holes that allow solvent and/or a gas to be provided or pumped/provided into an apparatus that includes plant matter. Nozzles consistent with the present disclosure may be optimized for extracting cannabis from cannabis plant matter or from other types of plants that include cannabinoids. In certain instances, nozzles may also be used when processing cannabinoid containing concentrates that were extracted from plant matter using any type of extraction technique.

Nozzles for essential element extraction method and apparatus

A process and apparatus for extracting cannabinoids from cannabis plant material plant material and for transporting low concentrations of cannabinoids in a solution of solvent may include a solvent tank, a hopper, and one or more pumps. A plurality of valves may also be incorporated into the invention. Plant material may be soaked, washed, and/or rinsed with a solvent that extracts essential elements from cannabis plant matter. The process may minimally include filling a hopper with plant mater, moving solvent from a solvent tank to the hopper, and moving solvent back to the solvent tank after an extraction. Repeating this process a plurality of times with new plant material increases the concentration cannabinoids in the solvent tank after each time the process is performed.

Recycling cannabinoid extractor

The invention extends the utility of apparatus used to extract medicinal cannabis compounds into an eluate by separating a portion of medicinal cannabis compounds contained within a portion of eluate at a first extraction target level providing enough clean solvent to continue extraction operations. A high efficiency concentrator such as a rotary evaporator or a wiped film evaporator processes eluate from one or more tanks or extraction vessels creating clean solvent when extraction targets are met or when clean solvent is exhausted. This manages eluate concentration levels and limits the quantity of concentrated medicinal cannabis compounds on site at any moment in time. The invention enables a business model for keeping medicinal cannabis compounds within a legal system, and reduces pollution because law enforcement would no longer have to burn large quantities of cannabis plant matter.

Essential element management

This device's inter-module power transfer may be with or without direct electrical contact, or devices may be internally powered. Power transfer through inductive/transformer action where one or more alignment pins are used as transformer core is one potential implementation. Modules may be liquid filled to facilitate cooling and/or crush resistance to high-pressure environments.

Extensible robust modular electronic device without direct electrical connections for inter-module communication or control

An electronic component or assembly that is assembled within a case that is designed to operate as a liquid phase to gas phase heat pipe where the electronic component or assembly is introduced into a liquid or partially liquid partially gaseous environment; whereby said liquid evaporates into a gas absorbing heat energy and transferring it to and through the component's or assembly's case. The case will be engineered out of materials that do not contaminate the liquid and electronics with ions and will be engineered to include a plurality of chambers/towers that extend in various directions providing enhanced heat pipe functionality in any physical orientation.

Electronic package whereby an electronic assembly is packaged within an enclosure that is designed to act as a heat pipe

A 3 dimensional electronic assembly comprised of a series or plurality of electronic Flex circuit sub-assemblies that form a layered Flex circuit assembly. Each Flex circuit sub-assembly is electronically connected to one or more other Flex circuits forming a multi-layer electronic Flex circuit assembly where various layers are separated by a substance that is designed to transfer heat away from the electronic components with the intent of cooling the electronic devices contained within the assembly. Each said Flex circuit sub-assembly/layer contains one or more trace layers for the conduction of electronic signals, power, and ground. Each Flex circuit layer may also contain electronic components such that the overall device forms an electronic assembly with embedded electronic components. A layered Flex circuit assembly will contain at least two Flex circuit sub-assemblies to which electronic components are electrically attached forming a 3 dimensional electronic assembly. 3 dimensional electronic assemblies may be assembled within an external package. Various forms of heat transfer are used to cool the electronic devices contained within the assembly. Heat transfer mechanisms include directed air flow, embedded heat sinks, heat conduction through a liquid, embedded heat pipes, and an enclosure that is designed to operate as a heat pipe.

A shaft assembly includes a housing having a bore formed therein. A shaft is disposed rotatably in the housing and within the bore. A seal assembly extends between the shaft and a circumferential surface of the bore and includes a first annular seal member rotationally fixed to one of the shaft and the housing and extending therefrom to engage the other of the shaft and the housing. One or more annular seal members extend at least partially between the bore and the shaft to form a labyrinth between areas external and internal to the shaft assembly.

A tool for driving an annular seal into a cavity defined by a shaft assembly housing that surrounds a rotatable shaft includes an elongated body having an interior cavity that opens at a first end of the body for receiving the shaft. The body defines an annular surface at the first end. The annular surface has an inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of the rotatable shaft and forming a removable frictional seal with the inner diameter of the cavity.

Tool and seal cover for shaft assembly

An apparatus and its method of use are provided allowing lavage, sump and enteral feeding operations with only one intubation. The apparatus includes a first tube having two distinct passageways. One of these passageways completely contains a second, feeding tube during intubation. Once the first tube is in place in the patient, the second tube is extended from the first tube so as to enter the stomach. The extension of the second tube opens ports in the first passageway of the first tube, thereby allowing sump or lavage treatment with the second passageway of the first tube serving as an air vent. A constriction in the end of the first passageway engages a band on the proximal end of the second tube to keep the tubes together. Once gastric emptying of the patient resumes, the second tube immediately moves into the duodenum then into the jejunum past the Ligament of Treitz and the first tube is withdrawn from the patient while maintaining the second tube in position for enteral feeding through feeding ports in its distal end.
