A computer-implemented method to provide information characterizing real-estate market conditions within a geographic sub-region included within a larger geographic region is described herein. An indication of the geographic sub-region is received from a user. A memory device on which is stored information characterizing a set of parcels of real property that have been listed for sale is accessed. A parcel of real property located in the sub-region and for which a purchase offer has been made is identified from the stored information. If a purchase transaction for the parcel of real property has not closed, a range of a plurality of values characterizing the purchase offer is provided in at least one graphical user interface. If a purchase transaction for the parcel of real property has closed, a specific value of the plurality of values characterizing the purchase offer is provided in at least one graphical user interface.

Provision of real-estate market information

A system and method of injecting a chemical into a high pressure process stream without pumps or other active components. The system utilizes the differential pressure created by resistive losses of downstream components within a high pressure process stream. A bypass side stream is taken from an upstream pressure location and returned to the downstream side of the resistive inline process component. The chemical solution vessel is pressurized by the higher side of the pressure differential. The solution then passes through a flow controlling capillary tube exiting on the lower pressure differential side into the bypass stream. The high flow rate chemically diluted bypass stream then returns to the process stream at the lower differential process stream tie-in. The chemical solution is isolated from the process water pressuring the vessel by a movable separating device preventing mixing of the two fluids. The vessel can also be pressurized by gas.

Passive injection of a chemical solution into a process stream

A method of measuring an electrochemical corrosion potential (ECP) of a material specimen using a detecting device including an ECP detecting array is provided. The method includes locating an offset spacer in close contact to a face of the ECP detecting array, locating the material specimen within the detecting device with a measurement face in close contact to the offset spacer, establishing a flow through the detecting device, and measuring an electrical potential between the detecting device ground and an electrode wire.

Method and apparatus for measuring electrochemical corrosion potential inside small shallow cracks

A system serves to prevent or remove particle build-up in flowing systems, wherein a fluid flows in a conduit to a valve body. A mechanical shock is periodically generated in the valve body that is of a sufficient magnitude to disturb any particle attachment in the conduit or the valve body. The shock may be generated via direct impact with the valve body or passively using the fluid flowing in the conduit.

Method for controlling the amount of metal atoms deposited into an oxide layer present on a metal surface, which metal atoms increase the corrosion resistance of metal when present in the oxide film, wherein the metal surface is submerged in water at a selected temperature within the range of about to 200&deg; to 550&deg; F.; and a solution of a compound containing the metal which increases the corrosion resistance of the metal surface when present in the oxide film is injected into the water. The compound decomposes at the selected temperature to release atoms of the metal which incorporate in the oxide film at a desired loading.

Temperature-based method for controlling the amount of metal applied to metal oxide surfaces to reduce corrosion and stress corrosion cracking

A non-steady state computer model of water in a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) primary water flow circuit is used to represent the water chemistry and noble metal loading during, for example, an in situ noble metal application process. The modeling software is provided on a laptop or portable computer for real-time use in the field at different reactor sites. After inputting data representing the initial state of reactor water chemistry and operating conditions of the reactor, the model determines the water chemistry, pH, conductivity and noble metal loading throughout the BWR primary water flow circuit, including selected sample locations, as a function of time. Results are used to determine whether technical specifications on conductivity or other chemistry-related parameters will be exceeded during the noble metal application process. Values of rate constants used for modeling noble metal reactions may be changed on site at the reactor during the application process.

Method and apparatus for maintaining proper noble metal loading for a noble metal application process for water-cooled nuclear reactors

A cover and stabilizer made of a thin ridged material that slips over wheelchair footplates. The cover having a base (16) of adequate size to cover the surface of the footplates. A front retainer (18) fits against, and the upward retainer (20) slips under the leading edge of the footplates. The rear retainer (14) fits behind the rear edge of the footplates. The patient heel stop (12) is perpendicular to base (16) with a safety edge (10) running along the top edge. If a patient does not require the heel stop (12) then a fill length rear retainer (14) is added with a handle (22).

A flow-through system for determining the particle size distribution of iron oxide particulate matter in a reactor water sample. The system includes a magnetic filter having a chamber through which a stream of reactor water. The chamber is surrounded by a winding which is coupled to an electrical circuit for generating a varying magnetic field which interacts with any magnetic particulates entrained in the water sample flowing through chamber. When a strong magnetic field is established, magnetic particles are filtered out of the water stream flowing through the chamber by magnetic attraction. Therefore, only particles which are non-magnetic or slightly magnetic pass through the magnetic filter. The particles which pass through the magnetic filter then enter a conventional particle distribution analyzer which counts and sizes the particles in the water stream flowing therethrough.

A system for ensuring the distribution of noble metal in the reactor circuit during plant application without measuring the reactor water for noble metal content by chemical analysis. The system performs the measurement of electrochemical corrosion potential in an autoclave or a high-flow test section that is connected to the reactor water circuit through sample lines downstream of the injection port, preferably the point in the reactor circuit which is furthest from the injection port. If the noble metal flows into the autoclave or test section at these distant points in the reactor circuit, then the noble metal will deposit on the test specimens inside the autoclave or test section. After the noble metal has been injected for a predetermined duration, the electrochemical corrosion potential autoclave or test section is exposed to hydrogen water chemistry conditions and the electrochemical corrosion potentials of the specimens inside the autoclave or test section will be measured to determine the extent of their catalytic response. A good catalytic response indicates that the noble metal has reached the locations upstream where electrochemical corrosion potential is being measured.

An electrode probe for measuring the electrochemical potential of a surface at a location of interest in a boiling water reactor. The probe has a monolithic sensor configuration built into a single stainless steel mineral insulated (MI) cable. This monolithic sensor can be used as a switch to detect when the appropriate concentration of dissolved hydrogen required to provide IGSCC mitigation is present at any location inside the reactor. Using the sensor switch, it is possible to in situ instantly determine the minimum hydrogen level required to reach the IGSCC protection potential. The sensor configuration consists of a metal/metal oxide/ZrO.sub.2 sensor and a noble metal sensor in a combination wherein the outer sheath of a mineral insulated cable acts as the conductor for the noble metal and the central conductor of the MI cable acts as the conductor for the metal/metal oxide/ZrO.sub.2. The metal/metal oxide/ZrO.sub.2 sensor acts as a reference electrode in the BWR environment (i.e., at constant pH) and the noble metal sensor acts as a hydrogen electrode which responds to the dissolved hydrogen content in the BWR water.

Monolithic sensor switch for detecting presence of stoichiometric H.sub.2

A passive catalytic ammonia converter operating in the water/steam mixture exiting the core of a boiling water reactor. The catalytic ammonia converter is made of catalytic material arranged and situated such that substantially all of the water/steam mixture entering the water/steam separator device flows over the surface of the catalytic material. The catalytic surfaces react ammonia and/or NO with O.sub.2 or H.sub.2 O.sub.2 in the water/steam mixture to form nitrite or nitrate. The passive catalytic ammonia converter is constructed to ensure that the pressure drop of the reactor water across the device is very small. The catalytic ammonia converter can include a plurality of stainless steel flow-through housings packed with catalytic ammonia converter material, which could take the form of tangled wire or strips, crimped ribbon, porous sintered metal composite or any other structure having a high surface area-to-volume ratio.
