Methods and apparatuses for handling end-to-end encryption

Disclosed are improvements in communication methods and techniques where more than one communication path is available. The methods include determining a first throughput of the first path. The first throughput may be based on a first path of a connection, a mode selection, and analysis of a first packet configured to determine a parameter of the first path. The methods may include determining a second throughput, and the methods may further include sending a third packet comprising data of an application. The third packet may be based on the first throughput and the second throughput.

Multipath communication and control

Methods, apparatuses, and systems for handling end-to-end encryption are described. A user device may send encrypted data to a server via a proxy using an encryption key shared with multiple network nodes across multiple layers. The proxy device may create an encrypted tunnel with an application server and send the encrypted data over the encrypted tunnel to the application server. The application server may receive the encrypted data over the encrypted tunnel from the proxy device. The application server may decrypt the encrypted data.

A method for updating and retrieving information for one or more nodes includes sending an update of at least a first indicator from at least a first node of a group of nodes to a home agent. Each of the group of nodes is associated with the home agent and corresponds to at least one of a plurality of indicators. The plurality of indicators is related to an internet protocol and includes the first indicator. The method further includes sending a request to the home agent for group node information that is associated with at least information related to the plurality of indicators corresponding to the group of nodes. Additionally, the method includes receiving the group node information from the home agent and transferring the group node information to one or more applications capable of accessing all the group of nodes. Moreover, the method includes sending one or more communication messages to at least a second node of the group of nodes via the one or more applications without using the home agent for routing.

Method and system for optimized handover for mobile devices. The present invention provides a method for providing wireless communication. The method includes providing a first access device and a second access device in a communication network. The first access device and the second access device are configured to provide wireless connectivity. The method also includes providing a mobile device that is wirelessly connected to the first access network using a first connection. The mobile device is connected to a communication network using a first address that is associated with the first access network. The first connection is associated with a first priority level. Moreover, the method includes detecting the second access device by the mobile device. The method further includes obtaining a second connection between the second access device and the mobile device. In addition, the method includes providing a second address that is associated with the mobile device and the second access network.

According to an embodiment, the present invention provides a method for providing networking routing in compliance with a Mobile IP protocol. The method includes providing a mobile node, which includes a plurality of interfaces. The plurality of interfaces includes a first interface and a second interface. The first interface is associated with a first service, a second service, and a first address. The second interface is associated with a third service and a second address. The method also includes providing a home agent that is configured to store a plurality of entries associated with mobile nodes. The method additionally includes sending a first packet from the mobile node to the home agent. The first packet includes at least a first entry and a second entry.
