A hand-held setting tool for driving in fastening elements includes a pressure probe () displaceable between an extended position () in which the setting tool () cannot be actuated, and an operational position () in which the setting tool () can be actuated, and a blocking member () displaceable by a gravity force between its release position () in which it is located outside of a displacement path () of the pressure probe (), and a blocking position () in which it extends into the displacement path () of the pressure probe (), blocking displacement of a pressure probe () into its operational position.

A setting tool for driving fastening elements includes a piston device () for the setting piston () and arranged in a setting direction end region of the hollow chamber () of the piston guide (), with the piston stop device () having a stop member () adjoining the hollow chamber () in the setting direction and including a leadthrough () having an inner conical active surface () that cooperates with the conical active surface () of the setting piston (), and with at least one of the active conical surface () and the active conical surface () being provided with a friction-reducing coating ().

Setting tool

A setting device () for driving fastening elements into a receiving material has a housing (), with a muzzle part () which is displaceable axially relative to the housing () and is arranged with a guide channel () for a fastening element strip () and opens into a receiving space () for a fastening element () to be driven in. Further, a locking element () is arranged in the muzzle part (). The locking element () has a feeler portion () for detecting a fastening element () in the receiving space () and a locking part () for blocking the displacement of the muzzle part () relative to the housing () in a locking position () when a fastening element () is not detected in the receiving space () by the feeler portion (). A setting tool for driving fastening elements and including a setting piston () axially displaceably arranged in the hollow chamber () of a piston guide (), and a piston stop device () for the setting piston (), arranged in setting direction end region of the hollow chamber () and having a damping element () supported against a stop (), and a stop member () adjoining the damping element () in a direction of the hollow chamber () and operationally connectable with the piston band (), and having a cylindrical bushing () for the piston stem (), with the bushing () having an inner diameter (D) that amounts to from 70% to 90% of a size of the maximal outer diameter (D) of the prison band that has a conical surface engageable with the inner surface of the bushing.

A setting tool including a piston guide () for guiding the drive piston () of the tool, a bolt guide (), and a buffer member () located in the guide bore () of the piston guide () between the sealing element () of the drive piston () and the bolt guide () and surrounding the drive piston stem (), with the guide bore () of the piston guide () having at least one stop shoulder () having a stop surface facing in the setting direction, and the buffer member () having at least one mating shoulder () having a facing in a direction opposite the setting direction, mating surface cooperating with the stop surface of the stop shoulder () of the guide bore ().
