Embodiments herein relate to window spacer assemblies including surfaces with relatively high surface energy. In an embodiment, a window spacer assembly is included. The window spacer assembly including a spacer body having an inner surface, an outer surface, and lateral surfaces. The window spacer assembly further includes a first sealant disposed on the lateral surfaces. Portions of the window spacer assembly such as an outer surface or lateral surface of the spacer body and/or a moisture vapor barrier layer disposed over the outer surface can be treated to have a higher surface energy. Other embodiments are also included herein.

High surface energy window spacer assemblies

A wrist rest assembly for use along the front edge of a device to be operated by a person's hands or fingers, such as in front of a computer keyboard, including an elongate base on which is supported an elongate pad comprising a layer of gel within the covering. The pad has sufficient thickness between its top and bottom surfaces and width between its edges to afford supporting a users wrists on said top surface with a portion of the layer of gel beneath and conforming to the supported wrists and to afford significant motion of the top surface of the pad with the supported wrists relative to the bottom surface in a plane generally parallel to the upper surface of the base. The base has a top portion supporting the pad, a bottom portion adapted to be supported on a horizontal surface; and structure that allows the top portion to be supported on the bottom portion with the top surface of the pad at a predetermined one of several different distances above that horizontal surface.

Assemblies containing a substrate with pockets for electromagnetically responsive particles can be made for a variety of uses, including, for example, display media, lenses, and color-changing fabric. The arrangement of these pockets can be selected to provide higher particle density than previously realized. The assembly includes an assembly substrate, particles, and a top coat layer.

An adjustable wrist rest assembly that comprises a base portion having an first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, a first end, a second end opposite the first end, a first longitudinal edge, and a second longitudinal edge opposite the first edge. The wrist rest assembly further includes an elongate pad comprising a support layer and opposite first and second surfaces, wherein the second surface is supported on the first surface of the base portion. The wrist rest assembly further comprises at least one height adjustment member having a first surface and at least one support surface generally opposite the first surface, wherein the first surface of the height adjustment member is mounted on the second surface of the base portion, and wherein the wrist rest pad assembly is supported by the at least one height adjustment member at a first distance above the support surface when located thereon. The wrist rest assembly further includes at least one height adjustment pad having a thickness and a first position being removably attached to the at least one support surface of the at least one height adjustment member, wherein the wrist rest pad assembly is supported by the height adjustment member and pad at a second distance above the support surface when located thereon, and a second position being removed from the at least one support surface of the at least one height adjustment member, wherein the second distance is greater than the first distance.

Keyboard support assembly

An articulated support assembly for a computer keyboard. The assembly includes a generally U shaped rigid support member, and a platform for supporting the keyboard pivotably mounted on a central portion of the support member. Projecting end portions of the support member are pivotably mounted on attachment members fixed to the bottom of a table or desk top. A releasable friction clutch restricts pivotal movement of the platform around the central portion of the support member. A releasable ratchet assembly prevents revolving movement of the central portion toward a lowered position relative to the attachment members. A switching mechanism can be manually activated to release the ratchet assemblies and the friction clutch so that the position and orientation of the platform relative to the table or desk top can be adjusted.

A barrier fabric laminate for use as a coating for a gel filled article is provided. The barrier fabric laminate comprises a fluid impermeable film and a polyurethane nonwoven web which has a friction value of less than 200 g and a fabric hand of less than 200 g. The polyurethane web is formed of fibers of less than about 50 .mu.m on average and preferably is formed with a fluorochemical melt additive by sequentially melt blowing the polyurethane web on a heated collecting drum and laminated by a nip formed by a heated nip roller and the collecting drum.

Method of making a polyurethane pad covering

A mounting composite for removably mounting sheet materials on a vertical wall formed of woven or knitted fabric. The mounting composite comprises a support layer with means along its front surface for retaining and displaying sheet materials, and a fastener attached along a rear major surface of the support layer. The fastener can include a multiplicity of aligned curved hook-like projections, or upstanding stems with mushroom heads. The mounting composite can be firmly removably attached on a vertical wall covered with woven or knitted fabric by engagement of the hook-like projections mushroom heads with the fibers of the fabric.
