This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced feedback for secure mode wireless communications. A device may send a first null data packet (NDP) to a second device, and identify a second NDP received from the second device. The device may identify a location measurement report (LMR) received from the second device, the LMR including a first channel response indicative of a first arrival time of the first NDP at the second device and a first phase shift associated with the first NDP. The device may generate a second channel response indicative of a second arrival time of the second NDP at the device and a second phase shift associated with the second NDP. The device may determine that the first channel response does not match the second channel response, and may identify an attempted attack.

Enhanced feedback for secure mode wireless communications

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to over-puncture mitigation. A device may generate a frame comprising a payload having a payload size associated with a number of bits. The device may determine a low-density parity-check (LDPC) codeword size based on the payload size. The device may calculate a number of codewords based on the payload size. The device may calculate a number of shortening bits and a number of LDPC padding bits based on the number of codewords. The device may calculate a number of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for containing the number of codewords. The device may cause to send the frame with the number of OFDM symbols to a station device.

Over-puncture mitigation in LDCP rate matching

The application relates to ultra-low latency data transmission in Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). An apparatus used in a non-Access Point Station (non-AP STA), includes processor circuitry configured to cause the non-AP STA to, when there is urgent data that must be transmitted in uplink without waiting for a scheduled slot: generate a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) from the urgent data; and transmit the PDU on a resource unit pre-assigned for urgent transmission, wherein the resource unit is multiplexed for uplink transmission from multiple non-AP STAs.

Ultra-low latency data transmission in WLANs

Embodiments of a system and method for communicating acknowledgments in a wireless network are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a method of wirelessly communicating acknowledgements includes receiving a first signal on a first subchannel from a second wireless device. The method may include transmitting a block acknowledgement of the first signal on a subchannel. The first wireless communication device may not receive a block acknowledgement request to transmit the block acknowledgement. In some embodiments, a method of communicating block acknowledgements includes transmitting a first transmission to a first wireless device on a first subchannel and a second transmission to a second wireless device on a second subchannel The method may include receiving a first block acknowledgement from the first wireless device and a second block acknowledgement from second wireless device. The first and second block acknowledgement may be received on one of the first and second subchannels.

Method, apparatus, and computer readable media for acknowledgement in wireless networks

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to allocating non-continuous resource units (RUs). A device may determine a non-continuous RU allocation for one or more devices in a 80 MHz bandwidth including four 20 MHz channels, the non-continuous RU allocation including disabled tones of a 20 MHz channel of the four 20 MHz channels, and the disabled tones being a subset of tones within the 20 MHz channel. The device may determine a high efficiency wireless frame comprising an indication of the non-continuous RU allocation. The device may send the high efficiency wireless frame to one or more multiple devices.

Enhanced resource allocation for wireless communications

In one example, a first wireless communication station (STA) may be configured to identify an estimated end of a frame transmitted from a second STA to an Access point (AP); and to transmit a transmission to the AP within a Short-Inter-Frame-Space (SIFS) beginning at the estimated end of the frame from the second STA. For example, a duration of the transmission may be no longer than the SIFS. For example, the transmission to the AP may be on a same wireless communication channel as the frame from the second STA. In another example, an AP may be configured to process a frame from a first STA; and to process a transmission from a second STA, the transmission from the second STA received within a SIFS beginning at an end of the frame from the first STA.

Apparatus, system, and method of wireless communication during a short-inter-frame-space (SIFS)

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to a trigger-based null data packet (NDP) for channel sounding system. A device may send a trigger frame to a group of station devices, the group of station devices including a first station device, the trigger frame indicating a high efficiency (HE) long training field (HE-LTF) mode and a guard interval duration. The device may identify a HE trigger-based (TB) null data packet (NDP) received from the first station device, the HE TB NDP including a first packet extension field, wherein the HE TB NDP is associated with the HE-LTF mode and the guard interval duration indicated in the trigger frame. The device may send a downlink NDP including a second packet extension field, a second HE-LTF mode, and a second guard interval duration. The device may determine channel state information based on HE TB NDP received from the first station device.

Enhanced trigger-based null data packet for channel sounding

This disclosure describes mechanisms for performing rate matching in low-density parity check (LPDC) codes in a wireless network. A device may generate an Aggregated Media Access (MAC) Protocol Data Unit (AMPDU) payload having an AMPDU payload size associated with a number of bits. The device may omit pre-Forward Error Correction (FEC) padding of the AMPDU payload at a MAC layer by indicating the AMPDU payload size in a physical layer (PHY)-specific preamble. The device may then generate the PHY-specific preamble comprising the AMPDU payload size without the pre-FEC padding. The device may also calculate a number of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for containing the number of bits and transmit the PHY-specific preamble and the number of OFDM symbols to a station device.

Mechanisms for performing rate matching in low-density parity check (LPDC) codes in a wireless network

The application relates to an apparatus and method used in Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). The apparatus includes: a wireless interface; and processor circuitry coupled to the wireless interface and configured to: generate a Physical layer Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) with a Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) coding scheme; and provide the PPDU to the wireless interface for transmitting, wherein the PPDU comprises one special codeword and more than one regular codeword and does not comprise a padding bit before Forward Error Correction (FEC) codes, and the regular codeword has a fixed codeword size, which can be different from a codeword size of the special codeword.

The application relates to a preemption mechanism for wireless local area networks (WLANs), and in particular provides a method, including: broadcasting information about a Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) on a wireless channel, wherein the TXOP includes two or more transmission durations and a preemption period exists between any two neighboring transmission durations of the two or more transmission durations; and pausing communicating on the wireless channel during the preemption period to give opportunity for one or more stations (STAs) to preempt the wireless channel to transmit high priority traffic.

The device may determine a first resource allocation subfield and a second resource allocation subfield of the common information field based at least in part on the number of tones. Enhanced high efficiency frames for wireless communications

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to low power wake-up radio beacon signaling. An access point may determine timing information for the transmission of low power wake up radio beacons and send that timing information to a user device. An access point may then send low power wake up radio beacons based on that timing information to a user device, and a user device may receive the low power wake up radio beacons based on the timing information.

A device may determine a multi-link communication with a first multi-link device comprising two or more links associated with two or more station devices (STAs) included in the first multi-link device. The device may determine a first medium access control (MAC) address associated with a first link of the two or more links. The device may determine a second MAC address associated with a second link of the two or more links. The device may generate one or more pairwise security keys to be used in the multi-link communication on the two or more links. The device may cause to send a frame to the first multi-link device using at least one combination of the one or more pairwise security keys.
