An electronic device and a light pipe apparatus advantageously are formed of a relatively small number of components that are configured to provide various types of light at the exterior of the electronic device while detecting ambient light at the exterior of electronic device, while also providing weather seals that protect the interior of electronic device without requiring the use of additional components to provide such seals.

A pedestal has two sides that are opposite one another and to which various charging boxes can be mounted and electrically connected. For instance, the pedestal can have the same charging boxes mounted to the two sides and electrically connected with a power system upon which the pedestal is positioned. Instead, two different charging boxes can be mounted to the two sides. Importantly, either or both charging boxes can be easily removed by appropriate personnel and alternatively replaced with other charging boxes if, for instance, the market for needing specific electrical charging has changed or if the population of electrical vehicles needing electrical charging has grown in a new direction, by way of example.

A shield can have situated thereon a charger to charge an electrical vehicle, the shield including a panel comprising a body portion formed of a first material and a coating apparatus that is formed of a second material different than the first material, the coating apparatus being applied to at least one of the front surface and the rear surface. The shield can protect a wall to which the charger is mounted for the charging electrical. The shield can be combined with an electrical receptacle box to form a protector.

Dough preparation apparatus and associated methods. The dough preparation apparatus can store and be configured to execute a plurality of dough preparation recipes. In one example, the dough preparation apparatus is configured for thawing or slacking frozen dough and conditioning the dough prior to baking. The dough preparation apparatus facilitates production of baked bread having higher and more consistent quality.

Food preparation apparatus and associated methods. In one method, dough is proofed in an oven compartment and then baked in the same oven compartment. A pipe saddle includes a saddle body having an interior surface with a generally U-shaped cross-sectional shape defining an interior configured to receive a pipe therein. The saddle body includes a bottom wall portion. A support clip is included on the bottom wall portion of the saddle body. The support clip includes a side wall extending downward. A resiliently deflectable lower arm extends outward from a lower end of the side wall and generally opposing the bottom wall portion. The resiliently deflectable lower arm includes a catch at a free end thereof. The resiliently deflectable lower arm is configured to snap onto a support structure to attach the pipe saddle to the support structure.
