A bumper assembly includes a bumper cover, a bumper reinforcement beam spaced apart from the bumper cover, and a low speed bumper energy absorber that extends along a front surface of the bumper reinforcement beam between the bumper cover and the bumper reinforcement beam. The low speed bumper energy absorber includes a body portion extending along the front surface of the bumper reinforcement beam, wherein at least a portion of the body portion is space apart from the bumper cover, and one or more air deflectors extending between the body portion and the bumper cover, wherein the one or more air deflectors substantially isolate a portion of the bumper assembly from air leakage through the bumper assembly.

A bumper assembly includes a bumper cover including one or more air deflectors extending inward from the bumper cover, a bumper reinforcement beam positioned rearward of the bumper cover, and a low speed bumper energy absorber that extends along a front surface of the bumper reinforcement beam between the bumper cover and the bumper reinforcement beam. The one or more air deflectors extend from the bumper cover toward the low speed bumper energy absorber at an oblique angle relative to a front face of the low speed bumper energy absorber to substantially isolate a portion of the bumper assembly from air leakage through the bumper assembly.

A bumper assembly includes a bumper cover, a bumper reinforcement beam spaced apart from the bumper cover, a low speed bumper energy absorber that extends along a front surface of the bumper reinforcement beam between the bumper cover and the bumper reinforcement beam, and a low force energy absorber positioned below the low speed bumper energy absorber. The low force energy absorber includes a body portion extending along the front surface of the bumper reinforcement beam and one or more air deflectors extending from an upper surface of the body portion between the low speed bumper energy absorber and the bumper cover. The one or more air deflectors are configured to substantially isolate a portion of the bumper assembly from air leakage through the bumper assembly.

A method for positioning a temperature sensor in association with a heat conductive surface in a lead frame located at an end of a dynamoelectric machine. The sensor is supported to the lead frame by lead wires to position the sensor at a first position spaced from an outwardly facing surface defined on the outer side of the lead frame. A cover member is moved to an attachment location in engagement with an outer side of the lead frame, wherein at least a final portion of the movement of the cover member includes positioning an engagement surface of the cover member into engagement with the sensor and causing the sensor to move closer to the outwardly facing surface to a location defining a second position for the sensor.

A permanently magnetizable rotor having a central rotor structure including a rotor shaft supporting a cylindrical backiron. The rotor further includes a multi-pole structure comprising circumferentially alternating pole elements, and a rotor cover extending longitudinally over the multi-pole structure. The rotor additionally includes an endcap including an engagement surface positioned in engagement with an end of the backiron. The endcap defines first and second anti-rotation features for preventing circumferential rotation of one or more of the pole elements about the backiron. The first anti-rotation feature is configured differently than the second anti-rotation feature and each anti-rotation feature defines a torque transmitting feature for transmitting a torque from different locations on the multi-pole structure.

Prioritization of data traffic is a common technique for providing enhanced quality of service (QoS), allowing some traffic to reach its destination on an expedited basis without being obstructed or delayed by other lower-priority traffic. A mechanism is disclosed using the bearer architecture of the evolved packet core (EPC) to provide prioritization of traffic from specific packet data networks (PDNs), as well as over specific bearers. The priority information is requested by the mobile management entity (MME), which is commonly overloaded with traffic to and from multiple users and PDNs. In addition, a mechanism is provided for reducing the frequency of unwanted paging notifications for MMEs that are overloaded.

Methods and systems for providing interconnection between network operation environments are disclosed in some embodiments. This can include providing interoperability between 3GPP and 3GPP2 standards environments. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed that includes receiving a request from a mobile device for service at a gateway, determining a mode of operation for the mobile device by inspecting an incoming message, wherein the mode of operation includes 3GPP and 3GPP2, establishing a connection using a proxy mobile internet protocol (PMIP), where the type of connection established is dependent on the mode of operation, providing an IP address to a mobile device based on the mode of operation and the parameters associated with the mode of operation, and communicating with an authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) server operating in accordance with the mode of operation.

An electric motor assembly including a stator assembly and a rotor assembly extending through the stator assembly. A first end cap is located adjacent to a first end of the stator assembly and includes a bearing insert supporting a first end bearing for receiving an end of a rotor shaft. A second end cap is located adjacent to a second end of the stator assembly. An endbell is formed separately from the second end cap and is positioned within the second end cap. The endbell supports a bearing for a second end of the rotor shaft. An overmold material extends through the stator assembly. The overmold material may form the first end cap, supporting the bearing insert therein, and extends within and substantially fills an annular space within the second end cap.

An antenna system that for use in both high density areas and rural areas while still obtaining acceptable reception in both locations. The antenna system includes a switching mechanism that permits the user to select between a lower gain range, appropriate for high density areas, and a higher gain range, which is more conducive to rural areas where UHF and VHF signals tend to be the weakest. This system provides the user with greater utility and performance and broader compatibility with television markets of varying sizes.

A portable liquid heating and dispensing system is provided. A preferred embodiment includes a self-contained dispensing unit and a receiver. The dispensing unit may include a container portion, a dispensing portion, and an electric heat generating portion. The container portion has a main reservoir for holding a supply of the liquid to be dispensed. The dispensing portion has a down tube, a manually operated pump mechanism connected to the down-tube, and an outlet spout connected to the pump mechanism. The pump mechanism has a liquid reservoir. Liquid is drawn through the down tube and into the liquid reservoir and out of the outlet spout. The heat generating portion is positioned at the liquid reservoir, so that liquid pumped out of the main reservoir is heated before being pumped out of the spout. The receiver accepts and provides power to the self-contained dispensing unit.

A neutral lug assembly for coupling neutral wire conductors to a neutral plate in the panelboard is provided, the neutral lug assembly includes a generally u-shaped bracket adapted to be electrically coupled to the panelboard neutral plate and having first and second stair-step shaped side portions. A cross strap having a first end secured to the first side portion, a second end secured to the second side portion and a middle portion. A securing means is provided for securing the first and second end of the cross strap to the first and second side portions of the bracket, wherein the securing means electrically couples the cross strap to the first and second side portions. A connector is coupled to the middle portion of the cross strap for coupling at least one neutral wire conductor to the bracket.
