A portable construction tent is provided. The portable construction tent is especially suitable for use in inclement weather conditions. In particular, the portable construction tent is especially suitable for use on a building when construction or repair is being done to the roof of the building. The portable tent unfolds, is adjusted for size, and then is secured to the parapet walls of the roof and finally is locked into place. A discard-able, recycle-able wrap is draped over support poles of the tent and is secured. In an embodiment, the wrap may be a low-density polyethylene film or cellophane. Further, in an embodiment, the wrap may be heat shrunk around the poles (which may be steel rafters), which are bolted to the parapet walls. Once in place, the portable construction tent allows workers to work on the roof of a building in almost any weather condition.

Portable construction tent and system

A construction system for releasing moisture from a building is provided. The system is especially suitable for use in buildings having a hip, valley or gable roof. More specifically, the device gives the hip, valley or gable roof adequate ventilation and moisture vapor release portals so as to allow air and water vapor to properly rise through the interior of the hip, valley or gable roof and out through ridge vents without becoming trapped by rafters of the hip, valley or gable roof. The system has a first unit and a second unit, wherein the first unit allows air and water vapor to pass through passageways of the first unit up through the underside of the hip, valley or gable roof up and out through the ridge vent(s) and the second unit allows air from the exterior to pass into the roof cavity to circulate through the roof cavity and into the first unit.

Construction system for releasing moisture from a hip, valley or gable roof

A plurality of devices used alone or in combination for releasing moisture from a building are provided. The devices are especially suitable for use in new or existing masonry and frame buildings with low-slope roofs, on parapet walls and mansard roofs, and on masonry walls and foundation walls. The devices give buildings adequate wall and roof system ventilation and moisture vapor release portals so as to better prevent mold and other water related damage. The devices may be used individually or in combination wherein the devices are placed on or against a parapet wall, masonry wall or foundation wall of a building. Further, the devices may be used in connection with a joist or truss system of a building to prevent moisture damage to the joists or truss system and to prevent compromises and other structural integrity problems to a building which often occur with moisture.

Construction device for releasing moisture from a building

A water vapor release and moisture seal device for use in association with brick, wood, stone, and cement or concrete masonry unit (CMU) buildings is provided. The device has a first layer metal housing and second layer metal housing which are inserted over the top of the parapet walls of a flat or slightly slanted-roofed building. A water resistant cloth and mesh material layer is inserted between the metal housings. A fastener secures the second layer metal housing to parapet wall of the building in two places, once each on the exterior and interior of the parapet wall. The housings interlock with each other on the exterior side of the wall and with a fastener on the interior side of the wall. The device is secured to the top of a wall of a building and allows the wall to breathe properly and eliminate moisture.

Parapet vent

A process and apparatus for the treatment of septage, particularly grease trap waste, is disclosed. The inventive process will convert the septage into Biosolids (sludge) and water dischargeable to the environment. The treated septage achieves pathogen reduction, and reduced vector attraction. Treatment of septage by pasteurization causes the destruction of harmful pathogens. Pasteurization of septage having high water content provides for even temperature elevation and distribution of heat within the thermal mass of the septage allowing for consistent pathogen destruction. An alkaline compound is utilized to form a filter cake from the solids fraction of the pasteurized septage preventing vector attraction, while producing a beneficial bio-solid. The liquid fraction of the septage is treated by biological process allowing for its discharge into the environment.

Process for treating septage

The present invention is directed to an electrocardiogram electrode connector for connecting an electrode to an electrocardiogram device that solves the problems with the Prior Art noted above as well as providing numerous advantages. The connector of the present invention comprises a lower portion having an electrode end and an ECG end, and an upper portion pivotally connected to the lower portion. The upper portion likewise has an electrode end and an ECG end. The connector also comprises a spring between the lower portion and the upper portion to bias the electrode ends together to clamp about an electrode. Further, the connector comprises an electrical assembly having an elastomeric electrical connector to provide electrical continuity between the electrode and the ECG device when the electrode ends of the lower portion and the upper portion of the connector are biased together.

A leak proof package for fluid materials in which the end of a tubular nozzle from a container is closed by a wall and dispensing openings are formed in the side of the nozzle to extend radially. The dispensing openings are closed by a sleeve which initially is fixed to the wall. The sleeve is separated from the wall along a line of frangible webs by twisting the sleeve relative to the nozzle to fracture the webs after which the sleeve slides axially of the nozzle between positions opening or closing the dispensing openings in the nozzle.

Electrode equipped electro-dermal device

A disposable electrodeless electro-dermal connector device includes a flexible non-conductive sheet having a fixed array of electrical conductor strips affixed thereon and positioned in a specific size configuration appropriate for electrocardiographic recording. The connector strips have a receptor pad end adapted for electrical connection with the skin for receiving electrical impulses and a terminal connection end which is adapted for connection with an electrocardiological measuring apparatus. Receptor pads V,and V,are attached approximately over the sternum at the fourth intercostal space and receptor pads V,and V,are attached over the ribs, with the distance between V,and V,being 2.00 inches&plusmn;0.56 inches, the distance between V,and V,being 3.5 inches&plusmn;1.00 inch.
