Mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses, and particularly knitted rolling tube mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses configured to have improved tracking for delivery through tortious vessels are described herein. Also described herein are methods of removing clots using a mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses in which the clot is larger than the tractor portion of the mechanical thrombectomy apparatus.

Inverting thrombectomy apparatuses having enhanced tracking

Mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses including an inverting, rolling conveyor region ('tractor') at the distal end that are configured to grab and remove thrombus material. In particular, described herein are mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses that are adapted to prevent premature deployment of the tractor, e.g., by including a tractor hold (e.g., a housing, a lock, a clamp, etc.) or the like to secure the outer end of the tractor against and/or relative to the elongate inversion support.

Pre-loaded inverting tractor thrombectomy apparatuses and methods

A mechanical thrombectomy apparatus for removing a clot from a vessel includes an elongate inversion support catheter having a distal end opening, an elongate puller extending within the support catheter, and a knitted tractor tube extending over an outer surface of the support catheter, inverting into the distal end opening of the support catheter, and attached to the elongate puller at a first end within the support catheter, wherein the portion of the knitted tractor tube extending over the support catheter comprises a wire forming a helical spiral of alternating teardrop shaped-links each having a rounded apex, wherein each link is connected to two adjacent links so that the apex of each link is on an outward-facing surface of the tractor tube, wherein the links flare outward from an outer wall of the support catheter when the puller is pulled proximally within the support catheter.

Inverting thrombectomy apparatuses and methods

Methods and apparatuses for removing material (e.g., clot) from within a body, including inverting thrombectomy apparatuses. These methods and apparatuses may include methods and apparatuses for reusing portion of the devices, method and apparatuses for loading and reloading the inverting thrombectomy apparatuses, and methods and apparatuses for improving and enhancing the ability of the inverting thrombectomy apparatuses to remove clot.

Inverting mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses

Described herein are devices, systems and methods for treating target tissue in a patient's spine. In general, the methods include the steps of advancing a wire into the patient from a first location, through a neural foramen, and out of the patient from a second location; connecting a tissue modification device to the wire; positioning the tissue modification device through the neural foramen using the wire; modifying target tissue in the spine by moving the tissue modification device against the target tissue; and delivering an agent to modified target tissue, wherein the agent is configured to inhibit blood flow from the modified target tissue. In some embodiments, the step of modifying target tissue comprises removing target tissue located ventral to the superior articular process while avoiding non-target tissue located lateral to the superior articular process.

Devices and methods for treating tissue

A system, ablation probe, and method is provided for treating tissue, e.g., tissue having tumors. The treatment system is configured to automatically deliver infusaid to tissue when needed and comprises an ablation probe having an ablative element and at least one perfusion exit port. The system further comprises an ablation source operably coupled to the ablative element, and a pump assembly operably coupled to the perfusion exit port(s). The pump assembly is configured for pumping infusaid out through the perfusion exit port(s), preferably during the ablation process. The system further comprises a feedback device configured for controlling the amount of infusaid displaced by the pump assembly based on a sensed tissue parameter, e.g., tissue temperature or tissue impedance.

In particular, described herein are mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses having tractors selectably extendable projections that may aid in grabbing and/or macerating a clot. Also described herein are seesawing tractors for mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses.

Anti-jamming and macerating thrombectomy apparatuses and methods

Mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses that may be configured to prevent or reduce jamming (e.g., 'anti jamming' thrombectomy devices), grab clot, and/or macerate the thrombus, e.g., clot, being removed. These mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses may include a tractor comprising a flexible tube of material that inverts as it rolls over itself while being drawn into a catheter in a conveyor-like motion. In particular, described herein are mechanical thrombectomy apparatuses having tractors selectably extendable projections that may aid in grabbing and/or macerating a clot.
