A sprayer can include a sprayer body, a reservoir coupled to the sprayer body, a cleaning fluid reservoir coupled to the sprayer body and a pump assembly arranged within the sprayer body and coupled to the reservoir and the cleaning fluid reservoir. The pump assembly can include a pump barrel that defines a central aperture, a piston arranged within the central aperture, a solenoid coupled to the piston and configured to reciprocate the piston within the central aperture during operation of the sprayer, and a manifold assembly coupled to the pump barrel and including a valve member movable between a first position and a second position. The valve member can fluidly couple the central aperture with the reservoir in the first position and fluidly couple the central aperture with the cleaning fluid reservoir in the second position.

Paint sprayer

A ratcheting wrench having ratchet structure, a ratchet body, a socket wheel, and a ratchet clutch. The ratchet body is received into the ratchet structure and is rotatable about a first axis. The socket wheel is received in an aperture in the ratchet body and includes a plurality of tool members that are spaced circumferentially apart from one another about a second axis that intersects the first axis but is not coincident with the first axis. The ratchet clutch is configured to control relative rotation between the ratchet structure and the ratchet body about the first axis.

Ratcheting wrench

A ratcheting wrench having ratchet structure, a ratchet body, a socket wheel, a plurality of ratchet teeth and at least one pawl. The ratchet body is received into the ratchet structure and is rotatable about a first axis. The socket wheel is received in an aperture in the ratchet body and includes a plurality of tool members that are spaced circumferentially apart from one another about a second axis that intersects the first axis but is not coincident with the first axis. The ratchet teeth and the at least one pawl cooperate to control relative rotation between the ratchet structure and the ratchet body about the first axis.

A light line generating assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a light generating unit and a base. The light generating unit produces intersecting light planes to form light lines on a surface. The light generating unit may further include level indicators for manual leveling of the light generating unit. The base is operable to repositionably receive the light generating unit such that the unit may be rotated with respect to the base. The base includes an attachment mechanism operable to connect the base to a supporting surface such as a wall or floor. The attachment mechanism is adjustable, and can be reoriented to permit the selective use of particular coupling devices/methods. Additionally, the light line generating assembly may include an adjustable measuring device (e.g., a protractor) moveably attached to the base.

Light line generating assembly

A tool incorporating a device that generates a light line on a work surface such as a wall is disclosed. The device includes a housing containing a self-leveling pendulum assembly and a light source that directs a light beam along a pathway. A redirection assembly, also contained in the housing, is capable of altering the pathway of the light beam prior to exiting the housing. In use, the device selectively generates a light line on the work surface in a desired direction.

Tool incorporating a light line generating device

A device that generates a light line on a work surface such as a wall is disclosed. The device includes a housing containing a self-leveling pendulum assembly and a light source that directs a light beam along a pathway. A redirection assembly, also contained in the housing, is capable of altering the pathway of the light beam prior to exiting the housing. The device may further include a measuring tool responsive to rotation of the housing on the work surface. In use, the device selectively generates a light line on the work surface in a desired direction.

Light line generating device

A level is disclosed with a sliding measurement system. The level includes a planar upper surface, a planar lower surface and a web extending between the upper surface and the lower surface. The web includes at least one elongate channel to which a track having an inwardly facing slot is mounted. The level further includes one or more pods slideably received on the track in the inwardly facing slot. The pod includes a generally cylindrical female member having upper and lower ridges extending outwardly therefrom, and a generally cylindrical male member configured to receive a marking instrument, the male member being matingly received in the female member. The upper and lower ridges of the female member are configured to be received in the inner slot of the track and are slideable thereon. The level further includes at least one bubble level vial mounted to the web of the body of the level.

Spirit level with sliding measurement system

Apparatuses are provided for various tools that incorporate materials with a high coefficient of friction and a low coefficient of friction. The materials with a low coefficient of friction may be mounted on a tool and have a perpendicular movement to the tool. This perpendicular movement may be implemented with a spring mechanism. The materials with a high coefficient of friction may be mounted on the tool in a fixed position. The tool may be pressed against a surface, first engaging the materials with a low coefficient of friction. The tool may freely move across the surface while the materials with a low coefficient of friction maintain contact with the surface. As the tool is continually pressed to the surface, the materials with a high coefficient of friction subsequently make contact with the surface, thereby causing the lateral movement of the tool with respect to the surface to be restricted and stabilized. An example of the tool may be a spirit or carpenter level.

Tool with non-slip feature or friction assembly

An assembly for generating light lines on a surface is disclosed. The assembly may include a first housing coupled to a second housing. The first housing includes the first housing may include a first light source and a second light source capable of generating intersecting light lines on the surface. The first housing, moreover, may be repositioned with respect to the second housing to reorient the light lines on the surface. The assembly may further include a pendulum assembly operable to self-level the light lines to create substantially vertical (plumb) and/or horizontal lines over a generally vertical surface such as a wall.
