A method and device for actuating a shifting arrangement with electric actuators of a transmission control of a motor vehicle. The method includes determining a total current of the shifting arrangement available at a point in time, detecting shift requests of shift elements and compared these with the total available current. Shift requests are then tested according to preset priorities and the sequentially performed according to the priority test. The method avoids exceeding a preset allowed current load, when the requested shifts would exceed the total available current. If the total available current would not be exceeded by the requested shifts, the requests are carried out. A device is also provided in the shifting arrangement which has control and detection mechanisms that monitor current and control the current flow.

Method and device for triggering a circuit arrangement with electric actuators

A housing comprising at least one electrical connection through a housing wall that is particularly inexpensive to produce and allows the electronic components located on the internal face and the external face of the housing to be attached in a particularly variable manner. The electrical connection is directly surrounded by housing material while being additionally sealed by means of sealing material. The inventive housing seal is provided with a profiled seal encompassing at least two sealing lips. The sealing material is additionally used for sealing the cover and/or the bottom relative to the housing wall. The arrangement is also particularly well protected against oil and other aggressive media as a combination of housing material and sealing material is used for surrounding the electrical connection.

A method and a device for controlling a fluid-actuated control system of an automatic or automated transmission of a motor vehicle, which has at least one pressure medium source, at least two control elements that are actuated by pressurized fluid and a control device for controlling the fluid-actuated control system. The control module reads signals concerning at least one current control action and, in accordance with predetermined patterns, calculation rules and/or models, generates signals that cause non-switched control elements to be manipulated by pressurized working fluid.

A method and device for controlling a fluid-actuated control system, to optimize post-switching times for actuation of control elements in such systems. The system includes at least one pressure medium source, at least one hydraulically controlled control element and a device for controlling the fluid-actuated control system. The optimum post-switching time after hydraulic actuation of the control element, depends on a number of different factors such as a control-element-specific parameter, a specific mounting location of the control element, at least one operating parameter of the fluid-actuated control system and/or of the vehicle. A post-switching time control device controls and/or regulates at least the duration of a post-switching time of the at least one control element and with the above factors determines the post-switching time.

An electronic circuit arrangement includes a heat sink and a first circuit carrier which is thermally coupled to the heat sink, lies flat on the latter and is intended to wire electronic components of the circuit arrangement. Provided for at least one electronic component is a special arrangement which is associated with a considerably increased heat dissipation capability for the relevant component and, in addition, also affords further advantages in connection with changes in the population and/or line routing which might occur in practice. The important factor for this is that the component is arranged under a second circuit carrier which is held in a recess in the first circuit carrier. The recess passes through to the top side of the heat sink.

The present invention concerns a method and a device for machine diagnosis and, in particular, for transmission diagnosis in a machine or motor vehicle. The measurement system, according to the invention, comprises a coil () wound on a coil core (), on the surface of which ferritic wear particles () to be detected accumulate. Opposite the coil () a rotating toothed wheel () is arranged which influences the inductance of the coil (). The output signal of the coil () is pulsed with a constant amplitude, the pulse frequency depends on the rotation speed of the toothed wheel (). Deviations of the amplitude are attributable to the accumulation of ferritic wear particles () on the coil () and therefore provide a measurement of the condition of the machine or transmission.

The measurement system comprises a capturing magnet (), on the surface of which the ferritic wear particles () to be detected accumulate. A binary measurement signal is produced by a reed contact () arranged opposite the capturing magnet (). This measurement gives an indication of the condition of the machine or transmission.

A proportional pressure control valve is described capable of serving as a pilot, servo or direct control valve and having a pressure reducing function and a pressure maintaining function. The valve is comprised essentially of a valve housing ( ) with inlet and outlet ports ( ), a control element ( ), an armature rod ( ) and a proportional magnet ( ). The proportional magnet ( ) is an assembly of a magnet core ( ), a magnet armature ( ) and a magnet coil ( ), whereby the proportional magnet ( ) when in its range of operation possesses a nearly constant magnetic strength. In accord with the invention, when in a holding position of the magnetic armature ( ) the smallest possible gap ( ) exists between the magnet armature ( ) and the magnet core ( ). This gap is so dimensioned that the magnetic force between the two said components ( ) in the holding position is greater than the magnetic force in the operational area of the proportional magnet ( ) and that the magnetic armature ( ) can be made fixed in position by this said magnetic force.
