A desk includes a work surface, a casing, a carriage, a stand, and a plurality of actuators. The actuators are operable to selectively adjust a vertical position of the work surface, the stand between at least a stored position and a deployed position, and a lateral position of the carriage. The casing is mounted to the work surface and defines an interior volume sized for receipt of a display. The carriage is mounted to the stand and is configured for supporting the display. A controller is in operative communication with the actuators and is configured for receiving data corresponding to a desk configuration over a wireless network and activating one or more of the actuators to correspond to the desk configuration.

A door assembly for selectively interlocking opposing doors each pivotably mounted at a hinge side thereof to a door frame so as to both open and close in the same direction includes a door handle assembly mounted to one door at a latch side thereof opposite the hinge side and carrying a first plurality of magnets, and another door handle assembly mounted to the other door at a latch side thereof opposite the hinge side and carrying a second plurality of magnets. The door handle assemblies are arranged relative to each other with the first and second pluralities of magnets aligned such each aligned pair of the first and second pluralities of magnets have opposite magnetic polarities, and the aligned first and second pluralities of magnets magnetically couple to each other as the door handle assemblies are brought into contact with each other.

An illumination system is provided for an access door may include an elongated illumination housing configured to be coupled to at least one of an upstanding jamb and a corresponding jamb casing extending along the one side of the access door, an elongated light transmissive cover coupled to the illumination housing, an elongated light pipe received within the illumination housing, an illumination source housing operatively coupled to one end of the light pipe, an illumination source disposed within the illumination source housing and configured to produce and transmit visible light into the light pipe so as to be visible through the light transmissive cover, a source of electrical power, and a control unit configured to selectively apply electrical power from the source of electrical power to the illumination source to produce the visible light.

A power access door assembly for use with a worksurface includes a frame configured to be received within an opening of the worksurface, a hinge coupled to the frame, and a door coupled to the hinge for movement relative to the frame. The door is movable relative to the frame between a first position, in which the door is positioned within a perimeter of the frame and substantially blocks access to the opening, a second position, in which the door is pivoted open relative to the frame, and a third position, in which the door is moved outside the perimeter of the frame.

Devices and methods for assisting with slicing items, such as food items, are disclosed. The devices may be referred to as press and slice devices. Such devices may include a base and a lid. The base and lid may each include a flexible layer, and flexible layers may be configured to hold the items being sliced when the lid and base are pressed together. The lid may include a handle to, for example help the user hold the lid and protect the user's fingers. The base may include a foot made of a material with a higher coefficient of friction than the material of the base to, for example help secure the base to the surface the device is being used on. The lid and base may include a mechanism for positionally securing the lid relative to the base, such as using a post and slot system.
