Rotary joints are disclosed, such as for supplying fluid to a pressure chamber that is disposed between a rotatable component and a stationary component. The rotary joint may include a seal carrier having at least one channel for a fluid connection to the pressure chamber. At least two axially spaced apart sealing rings may be disposed on the seal carrier for a static sealing of the at least one channel. At least one sealing element may be non-rotatably disposed on the seal carrier and configured to form an axial and a radial seal of the pressure chamber. The at least one sealing element may be configured to bear on a ring element that is non-rotatably connected to the rotatable component when pressure is built up in the pressure chamber and the at least one sealing element may have means for reducing the axial pressure exerted on the ring element.

Rotary leadthrough for a vehicle

A wheel bearing unit having a wheel hub which is mounted rotatably on a bearing journal by means of two tapered roller bearings which are spaced apart axially. The wheel bearing includes one outer ring, one inner ring and one roller crown ring which is formed from tapered rollers and a bearing cage. The tapered roller bearings are received by their outer rings on one axial stop of the wheel hub such that they are directed counter to one another, and the inner rings of the tapered roller bearings are spaced apart axially from one another by means of a sleeve wherein the wheel hub, tapered roller bearing and sleeve form a self-retaining assembly in the non-installed state of the wheel bearing unit. Both tapered roller bearings are secured axially by one securing means which is received directly on the wheel hub and covers the roller crown ring radially.

Wheel bearing unit

The present invention relates to a rolling bearing for rotatively mounting a machine element, including a sensor for measuring a mechanical load acting on the rolling bearing. The rolling bearing can be a wheel bearing of a motor vehicle, for example, or the bearing of a gearbox shaft. The rolling bearing includes a first bearing ring and a second bearing ring, which can be rotated with respect to the first bearing ring. A bearing inner space, which has at least one first axial section in which rotatable rolling elements are arranged, is formed between the first bearing ring and the second bearing ring. The rolling bearing further includes at least one sensor for measuring a mechanical load acting on the rolling bearing, in particular for measuring a force or torque, or a physical variable derived from a force or torque, for example, angular momentum or mechanical tension.

Rolling bearing for rotatively mounting a machine element

A compact cassette seal and a corresponding wheel hearing for a passenger car or truck. The cassette seal has a bent sheet-metal ring which is and/or can be non-rotatably connected to a radially inner component and an annular sealing system which is non-rotatably connected to a radially outer component. The sealing system has a bearing ring and a radially peripheral seal with at least one sealing lip. The seal is secured to the bearing ring and the sealing lips resting on the bent sheet-metal ring in a sealing manner. A radially outer ring end section of the sealing system defines a labyrinth seal with a bent sheet-metal section of the bent sheet-metal ring. The bent sheet-metal section radially overlaps the ring end section on the exterior thereby forming an axially aligned or substantially axially aligned labyrinth seal section of the labyrinth seal.

The interchangeable wheel bearing unit has a wheel hub and two tapered roller bearings, each having an outer ring and an inner ring, between which a respective row of tapered rollers is situated, and a securing ring in at least one of the inner rings of the tapered roller bearing. To assemble the wheel bearing unit without special tools, each outer ring of the tapered roller bearings has a cylindrical extension, which runs coaxially with the wheel hub axis towards the outer face of the bearing and into which a respective seal is inserted, and a retaining element, which is supported on the corresponding inner ring and axially fixes the outer ring, is located on the opposite face of the respective tapered roller bearing from the seal.

Interchangeable wheel bearing unit, for example for commercial vehicles and method for assembling a wheel bearing unit

A seal arrangement for a tire pressure-regulating device for a motor vehicle, which provides a compressed-air supply to a tire of a vehicle through a hole in an inner ring of a rolling bearing of a wheel bearing, through a seal housing which is connected to a wheel hub in a rotationally fixed manner, and through the wheel hub itself. A flat seal is fixed on the inner ring of the rolling bearing and the radially outer end of the seal has a sealing lip which is directed towards the seal housing and bears against it.
