A molded lamp socket. The molded lamp socket includes a lamp base body defining a socket cavity with an opening for receiving a lamp bulb. The molded lamp socket also includes a lead extending from a first contact portion disposed in the socket cavity to a second contact portion spaced from the socket cavity. The molded lamp socket also includes a mounting body defining a plug cavity encircling the second contact portion. The mounting body is overmolded with respect to the lamp base body and less than all of the lead, the second contact portion being exposed. The lamp base body is formed from a first plastic with a first level of resistance to out-gassing and the mounting body is formed from a second plastic with a second level of resistance to out-gassing less than the first level of out-gassing.

Molded lamp socket

A molded lamp socket. The molded lamp socket includes a lamp base body molded from a first plastic material providing a socket cavity with an opening for receiving a lamp bulb. The molded lamp socket also includes a lead extending from a first contact portion disposed in the socket cavity to a second contact portion spaced from the socket cavity. The molded lamp socket also includes a mounting body molded from a second plastic material providing a plug cavity encircling the second contact portion. The mounting body is overmolded with respect to the lamp base body.

Molded electrical socket

An electrical junction assembly for a wiring harness () couples one or more branch wires () to a main trunk line (). The junction assembly includes a housing () having an internal cavity into which is received first () and second () trunk terminals which interlock with one another and establish electrical conductivity therethrough. A branch wire () is inserted into the housing () through a branch opening (). The branch wire () has a branch terminal () on its end which is adapted to mechanically connect to the interlocked first () and second () trunk terminals, thereby establishing electrical conductivity between the branch wire () and the main trunk line (). A mounting member () is formed integrally on the housing () to provide a secure connection to a suitable mounting structure (). A hook () within the cavity in the housing () automatically engages and securely retains the second trunk terminal () when inserted into a full operative position. Cable seals () on each of the wires () seal against the respective openings () into the housing () to protect the electrical connections established therein.

Wiring system

A lamp and socket assembly () comprises a housing () including a socket cavity (). The socket cavity () is defined by side walls and a bottom wall (). A vent hole () passes though the bottom wall () of the socket cavity. A lamp () has a lamp base (). A lamp socket () is disposed in the socket cavity () and includes a through passage () for receiving the lamp base () and at least one retaining finger () for retaining the lamp base () in the through passage (). An electrical contact insert () is received in the socket cavity (). A plurality of electrical contacts () are received in and retained by the contact insert (). A plurality of blade terminals () are interlocked with the contact insert (), with respective ones of the contacts (), and with the housing (). A hydrophobic and/or oleophobic vent patch () is disposed in the socket cavity () and completely covers the vent hole () to permit trapped vapors and gasses to escape while repelling water and/or oil.

Vented socket

An engine cover for at least partially enclosing a portion of an engine. The engine cover includes a body having an inwardly-facing surface for facing an engine and an outwardly-facing surface opposite the inwardly-facing surface. The body also includes a plurality of through-apertures disposed in spaced relation to one another about the body for mounting the body to an engine. The engine cover also includes a plurality of sockets integral with the body and disposed in spaced relation to one another about the body. The engine cover also includes a plurality of leads extending different lengths within the body between the outwardly-facing surface and the inwardly-facing surface. The leads extend between a first end exposed in a first of the plurality of sockets and a second end exposed in a second of the plurality of sockets different than the first socket. The first ends of the leads are exposed in different sockets and the second ends of the leads are exposed in a common socket for engaging a single mating socket.

Engine cover with embedded leads

A wheel assembly which includes a wheel having a central bore and an attached hubcap. An axle is fitted into the central bore of the wheel assembly and interlocks with the hubcap, serving to secure the wheel assembly to the axle while permitting movement of the wheel relative to the axle.

Hubcap locking device

A wheel assembly for small powered equipment including a wheel and a tire mounted on the wheel. The wheel has an outer circumferential surface and inclined cleats projecting from the outer circumferential surface. The cleats are arranged in sets of 6-7 cleats. Each set of cleats is inclined in a direction that alternates with the direction of the cleats in adjacent sets. The tire is provided with ribs along the inner circumferential surface that engage the edge of the cleats. Accordingly, regardless of which direction the tire is driven, slippage of the tire will occur only to a limited extent until the ribs of the tire engage with the edges of the cleats facing in the appropriate direction. Thereafter, rotation of the wheel in the same direction will not result in slippage between the tire and the wheel, and rotation in the opposite direction will result in only that degree of slip necessary to bring the ribs into engagement with the cleats of an adjacent set.

Bi-directional anti-slip drive wheel assembly

A flexible V-shaped weighted exercising device having a flattish configuration defining opposite sides and wrapable about the foot and ankle. The device comprising a pair of flexible legs meeting at an apex area and each of said legs having a free end portion spaced from said apex area by a flexible, elongated, compartmentalized enclosure. Granule or particle weight materials received within the enclosure of each leg. Fastening structures disposed on each side of the end portion of one said leg and on opposite sides of the other end portion of said other leg and the apex area. The device adaptable to be interchangeably worn on either the right or left foot whereupon the weighted enclosure of one said leg is disposed about the ankle and weighted enclosure of the other said leg is disposed about instep and lateral aspect of the foot.
