A storage device for storing a removable flashlight. The storage device includes an electrical switch surrounded by a cover plate. A power source is electrically connected to the electrical switch. A removable flashlight is removably connected to the cover plate. The removable flashlight is stored in the storage device and removable from the storage device when needed for use.

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for enhancing display viewability in high ambient conditions without excessive increase in power consumption. In one aspect, a controller associated with the display device can be configured to obtain an indication of ambient light conditions from an ambient light sensor or from a host device hosting the display device. Upon receiving an image frame, the controller can derive a set of color subfields and determine a bit-depth value for each color subfield based on the obtained indication of current ambient light conditions and mapping data which maps ranges of ambient light to respective bit-depth values on a color subfield by color subfield basis. The controller can then generate a number of subframes for each color subfield based on the respective determined bit-depth value and cause the generated subframes to be displayed.

Apparatus and method for adaptive image rendering based on ambient light levels

Systems, apparatus, and methods are disclosed herein for adjusting the operation of a display based on ambient lighting conditions. One such apparatus includes a sensor input for receiving sensor data indicative of an ambient lighting condition, output logic and color gamut correction logic. The output logic is configured to simultaneously cause light sources of at least two colors to be illuminated to form each of at least three generated primary colors. The color gamut correction logic is configured to cause the output logic to adjust the output of at least one display light source for each of the at least three generated primary colors to change the saturation of each of the at least three generated primary colors based on the received ambient light sensor data.

A sheet and web cleaner has a pair of substantially identical units in facing relation, providing a path for transporting a sheet or web therebetween. Each unit includes a suction hood with an inlet slot. A pair of channels adjacent and parallel thereto have a pressurized air ionizing bar which discharges ionized air at high velocity onto a moving sheet or web. A faceplate covers the channels and the inlet slot and has a tapered central elongate inlet opening which overlies the inlet slot. Elongate air discharge openings overly each of the channels adjacent the inlet opening. A plurality of spaced ridges are disposed on a side of the faceplate proximate the sheet or web oriented relative to a direction of travel of the sheet or web from a travel direction towards respective edges of the sheet or web. Spaces between the ridges communicate with the inlet and discharge openings.

A skate assembly has a skate chassis, a boot and a motive member such as rollers or an ice blade. The skate chassis having an elongated body, a heel member and a toe member. The body having concave portions which reduce torsional flex on the chassis. Raised ribs and channels of the body and the members are engaged so as to allow the members to slide longitudinally along the body. The boot can be mounted on the heel and the toe members, and the motive member can be attached to the chassis, thus forming a skate assembly. The toe member having a curving plate for preserving the shape of the boot. Moreover, the heel and toe members can be positioned at numerous distances from one another on the body, thus supporting different boot sizes and providing different positions for the boot on the body.

Mobile camping apparatus which includes a van type of automotive vehicle. The van has a body provided with a chamber therein which serves as living quarters. The roof of the body is angularly movable to a raised position. Horizontal bed structure mounted adjacent the upper portion of the body serves as a ceiling for the living quarters when the bed structure is not positioned for use. The bed structure is moved linearly with respect to the body as the roof angularly moves upwardly. The bed structure becomes positioned for use when a major portion of the bed structure is substantially at the side or front of the body at the upper portion of the body. When the bed structure is so positioned for use, the living quarters is increased in volume and has substantial head room adjacent the bed structure. Motor members, rack and pinion members, and linkage members are included in the apparatus for laterally moving the bed structure and for pivotally moving the roof. Flexible, canvas-like wall material is attached to the roof and to the bed structure and unfolds to an enclosing condition between the roof and the bed structure as the bed structure moves linearly and as the roof pivotally moves upwardly.
