A gun cabinet has an opening door and an enclosure with a bottom wall having a slot. The enclosure contains a drawer which is supported on a caster wheel on an associated floor. The drawer is slidably attached to the enclosure so that the drawer can be pulled substantially out of the enclosure or rolled back into the enclosure with the caster wheel being received into the slot in the bottom wall of the enclosure.

A lever protects against inadvertent release of a magazine of a firearm if its ambidextrous release is hit by equipment when the firearm is carried. The lever is made from a projection, above the pivot point, having two opposing angles forward of the depression surface. The projection impacts the equipment before the depression surface is impacted (straight-on impact), which protects the assembly from inadvertent release of the magazine. An impact to the rear angle of the projection (a rear impact) increases the engagement of the lever with the magazine. An impact along the forward angle (from the front or straight-on) of the projection also serves to increase engagement of the lever with the magazine. The lever, with its projection having opposing angles, is specifically designed to protect the lever of an ambidextrous magazine catch from inadvertent release by impact/snag in the field.

The present invention relates to the field of tools used to modify the magazines of firearms. A die and anvil are configured to engage and form the lips of magazines, like that of the M16A4 and M4A1, to correct damage and enhance the feed angle of rounds to improve feeding and accuracy. The die and anvil are provided with a means to align them during the forming process to minimize the attempts necessary to complete the forming process. The anvil is configured to enter from the base of a magazine and to engage the side walls with sufficient tolerance to allow for free movement, but tight enough to detect deformation in the side walls. The anvil can be used as a rigid surface to correct deformation of the side walls with a non-marring tool. The preferred embodiment provides sufficient force to form the feed lips of the magazine without the need for additional tools.

The present invention relates to hardware used to secure slings to firearms. In particular, to hardware used to secure slings to firearms like that of the M16A2 and M4 Carbine that are fitted with a Picatinny type rail and collapsible buttstock. A wedge/yoke assembly is used to secure an end of a sling to the firearm on a rail and a rotational ring assembly is used to secure an end of a sling to the extension tube of the lower receiver. Both assemblies are designed to be installed quickly without the use of tools and without modification to the firearm. This hardware provides for ambidextrous attachment of a tactical sling to the firearm giving the user a &ldquo;hands free&rdquo; capability and allowing for engagement of targets when firing from a &ldquo;weak hand&rdquo; posture.

The body has a display screen side in which a display screen is positioned and a printer side positioned opposite the display screen side. The printer portion is attached to the printer side of the body such that the printer portion remains concealed during operation of the printer when the information device is viewed from the display screen side.

The present invention relates to a tool for the installation and removal of the magazine catch of automatic and/or semi-automatic firearms. In particular, a magazine catch which is transversely operable within the firearm like that of the M16A2 and M4 Carbine where the magazine catch button must be depressed sufficiently to allow for the rotation of the magazine catch for installation or removal. The tool enables the user to orient, insert, depress and hold the magazine catch button and to steady the firearm simultaneously with one hand. The tool is designed to limit the insertion of the magazine catch button so as to eliminate the damage caused to the magazine catch spring by over-insertion of the magazine catch button. The preferred embodiment is constructed of polymer to eliminate damage to the firearm and its parts. The design of the invention also serves to reduce discomfort and injury to the hand of the user caused by conventional tools or field expedients used to perform this task. The invention can also be configured to fit into the hollow cavity of the pistol grip where it is held in place by an interference fit, creating a storage space for various items. The invention is also provided with a storage insert which can be configured for various tasks.

An articulating computer monitor apparatus has a base with a vertical stand and a support block which is infinitely adjustable over a range of vertical positions. A pair of cantilevered arms are pivotally attached to a support block attached to the upright stand. The cantilevered arms have an attachment end which are located close together which avoids creating a large gap between dual monitors mounted on the arms. The arms have an offset support section with pivotable clutch-hinges which are attached to flat panel monitors. The apparatus provides dual monitors which may be raised and lowered, pivoted toward each other or away and tilted backward and forward so that the user has the ability to move the monitors in three directions to create glare-free efficient viewing. Two of the assemblies can be used on a desktop to create a 'stadium' effect.

To reliably maintain an EMI grounding connection between a sheet metal computer chassis wall and a computer cover wall that may be removably placed against the outer side of the chassis wall, a lance structure is formed in the chassis wall, and opposing installation notches are formed in the chassis wall on opposite sides of the lance opening. Transversely enlarged end portions of an elongated arcuate sheet metal grounding strip are inserted inwardly through the wall notches and captively retained within the lance structure with a longitudinally intermediate portion of the arcuate strip body extending outwardly through the chassis wall lance opening. When the cover wall is operatively installed on the chassis wall the grounding strip is resiliently flattened and compressed between the lance strip and the installed cover wall to maintain an EMI grounding path between the contiguous chassis and cover walls.

The present invention relates to an improved retaining and release mechanism for the magazines of automatic and/or semi-automatic firearms, in particular to a type of magazine which is provided with a lateral securing slot. A tooth (52) of lever (54) is designed to engage lateral securing slot (34) of magazine (30). Said lever (54) is provided with a deflecting surface (55) which abuts to a pair of deflecting edges (57a,57b) of protective ears (56a,56b). Said lever (54) is pivotally connected to said protective ears (56a,56b) of a base (38) by means of a pin (58). A slide (62) is connected to a 'T' shaped guide (60), of said lever (54), by means of a 'T' shaped channel (64). Said lever (54) is urged towards a body (16) of the firearm by energy exerted through a plunger (82) from a plunger spring (80) contained within said shaft (36). This spring energy is also used to hold said slide (62) in a retracted position over locking shelves (70a,70b) by means of a detent 'A' (92), or in an extended position by means of a detent 'B' (94) of said slide (62). Said base (38) is attached to a spring loaded shaft (36) located transversely in body (16) of the firearm and attached at its opposite end to an operating push button (44). The tooth (52) can be disengaged from lateral securing slot (34) by depressing either operating push button (44) or slide (62). The present invention's ambidextrous function can be engaged or disengaged by extending or retracting, respectively, slide (62) over locking shelves (70a,70b). The magazine (30) can thus be released from both sides of the rifle.
