An assembly for stored containment of fuel including a high-strength, impact resistant container having a hermetically sealed, fuel containing chamber and a nozzle operatively connected in fluid communication with the chamber. The nozzle includes a conduit disposed in fluid communication with the chamber and a sleeve movable relative to the conduit, between an inward retracted position and an outwardly extended position. The conduit at least partially defines a liquid flow path out of the chamber and a gaseous flow path into the chamber is disposed between the conduit and the sleeve. A seal assembly is mounted on the sleeve and movable therewith relative to the conduit to define a first opening of the liquid flow path and a subsequent opening of the gaseous flow path, both into fluid communication with and between the chamber and an exterior of the nozzle.

Fuel container assembly

Magnetic Force Microscopy (MFM) probe tips that provide enhanced spatial resolution and methods of manufacture are provided. In one aspect, two or more magnetically-decoupled layers may be deposited on an AFM probe in order to create an active magnetic region at about the apex of the probe tip with dimensions less than about 10 nanometers. In another aspect, nanoscale patterning techniques may be employed to fabricate probe tips that possess plateau features. These plateau features may serve as substrates for the deposition of magnetic films having properties similar to magnetic recording media. Machining techniques, such as Focused Ion Beam (FIB) may be further employed to reduce the size of the magnetic materials deposited upon the substrate. Beneficially, because the plateaus of the substrate are substantially flat and of known geometry, and the magnetic properties of magnetic films deposited on flat surfaces are similar to those deposited upon the plateau, the magnetization of the MFM probe tips may be determined to high accuracy. In this manner, fine control over the magnetic properties of MFM probe tips may be achieved, providing enhanced MFM resolution.

A continuous radio announcer device capable of transmitting a stored sound message in digitized format at predetermined time intervals. The radio announcer device includes a central unit and a remote unit that can be remotely accessed and the sound messages are stored in memory. The remote unit is a stand along device that can also be programmed on site. If remotely accessible, a modem and associated coded signals need to be provided to effect the communication over the public telephone network or through a wireless transmission. The amount of stored information will depend on the size of the memory.
