A dynamoelectric machine includes a shaft, a rotor arranged fixedly on the shaft for conjoint rotation, and a slip ring system enabling a rotor winding system to be contacted electrically and including a slip ring body having slip rings arranged spaced-apart axially behind one another and assigned to an electrical phase. The slip ring body is connected fixedly to the shaft for conjoint rotation and has between an inner side thereof and the shaft a section which forms an axially open cavity on both skies. In a region of the slip ring system, the shaft is hollow with a hollow shaft portion assigned to the slip ring system for routing feed lines to the rotor winding system. Recesses are provided on the cavity axially on an inside and axially on an outside for introducing a cooling medium flow axially into the cavity and discharge thereof into an outlet region.

Dynamoelectric machine having cooling of the slip ring system

A slip ring system of an electrically excited dynamoelectric machine can be designed to be closed or open and includes a carrier segment configured to include a brush holder which includes a brush pocket for receiving a brush. The brush holder includes means for cooling the brush in the brush holder and/or for cooling the brush holder and has a surface-enlarging structure so as to enable a cooling air flow to be guided within the slip ring system and thereby cool the brush holder and/or brush pocket.

Slip ring system with improved cooling

A slip ring, in particular for use in a wind turbine, includes an axle extending in an axial direction and a contact region having a contact surface on a peripheral surface of the contact region and a recess extending in a tangential circumferential direction along the peripheral surface. The contact region includes an axial end face formed with an opening which communicates with the recess. The contact region includes three essentially cylindrical segments which define two covering segments and an intermediate segment arranged in a center between the two covering segment. Each of the two covering segments defines a radius which is larger than a radius of the intermediate segment so that a peripheral surface of the intermediate segment forms an underside of the recess. An insulating region is arranged adjacent to the contact region on the axle.

A holding apparatus for a slip ring unit includes at least two slots configured for receiving slip ring brushes respectively, with the at least two slots being arranged in spaced-apart relationship. A cooling duct is arranged between the at least two slots for cooling a side surface of the slip ring brushes. The cooling duct is configured as a third slot between the at least two slots, with the at least two slots and the cooling duct being of essentially identical shape and dimension.

A rotor for a rotating electric machine includes a rotor winding arranged for conjoint rotation on a rotor shaft, and a slip ring body arranged on an axial end of the rotor shaft and having an end face on an axial end of the slip ring body opposite to the rotor winding. The slip ring body includes connection adapters which project axially beyond the end face of the slip ring body for connection of line ends of the rotor winding. A driver unit for a rotary encoder is fastened to the end face of the slip ring body and/or to the axial end of the rotor shaft and electrically insulated from the connection adapters. A centrifugal force support ring is arranged on the end face of the slip ring body such that the connection adapters and the driver unit are arranged in a through-opening of the centrifugal force support ring.

Rotor for a rotating electric machine

A slip ring body for electrically contacting an asynchronous machine includes first and second slip rings rigidly connected to one another, with at least two conductor bars fastened to each of the slip rings. At least one of the slip rings has a recess for passage of the conductor bars of the other slip ring and defining around the recess a first region in which air is at least partially present and which has a magnetic conductivity that is lower than a magnetic conductivity in a second region in which the conductor bars to the one slip ring are fastened, or which second region is embodied for contacting with an energy-transmitting brush. The first and second regions are not made of copper. The recess defines an opening cross-sectional area which is greater than a cross-sectional area of the conductor bars fastened to the one slip ring.

Slip ring body

A slip ring bridge, in particular for use in a wind power installation, includes at least two segments configured to provide electrical power, and an insulation element configured to insulate the segments to maintain the segments in spaced-apart relationship. The insulation element includes a shield arranged inside the insulation element and connected to a constant electric potential.

A slip ring includes an essentially cylindrical contact region defined by a radius and having a contact region which faces in a radially outwards direction. The contact region has a recess in a region of the contact surface, with the recess configured to have a projection extending on an inner side of the recess and/or being interrupted in a tangential direction. The contact region has an annular surface formed with an opening which communicates with the recess and extends towards an axial direction at an incline at an interval of 5 degrees to 45 degrees with respect to a normal of the annular surface. At least two insulating regions are arranged axially adjacent to the contact region and each being defined by a radius, with the radius of the contact region being larger than the radius of the insulating region.

An electrical machine includes a first active part and a second active part. Both the first active part and the second active part have a plurality of laminated sub-cores, with each laminated sub-core having a plurality of individual laminations. Each lamination is defined by an axial width. The laminated sub-cores are mutually spaced in an axial direction such that a respective radial cooling slot is formed between two adjacent laminated sub-cores. The radial cooling slots in the first active part are offset in the axial direction in relation to one another in comparison to the radial cooling slots in the second active part, and the sum of the axial widths of all individual laminations in the first active part corresponds to the sum of the axial widths of all individual laminations in the second active part.

A contact-making rotary transmission includes a brush forming an electrically conductive sliding contact element and a contact path of electrically conductive material for contact with the brush. The brush is guided and/or held by an arrangement which includes a plurality of carrier segments arranged axially behind one another. Each carrier segment has attached thereto a brush receptacle such as to define a first gap between the carrier segment and the brush receptacle. The brush receptacle includes a stationary receiving shaft which is formed by walls and configured to receive the brush, and a guide element which is provided on a wall of the receiving shaft so as to define a second gap between the brush and the wall. At least one of the walls includes an opening in communication with the first and second gaps to allow a flow of cooling air for cooling the brush.

Arrangement for guiding and/or holding electrically conductive sliding contact elements

A wet-running multi-disc brake includes stator discs, which are arranged in parallel to and at a distance from each other in a rotationally fixed manner, and a rotatable rotor disc positioned in each case between the stator discs. The radially extending stator discs and rotor discs can be pressed against one another during braking by way of a brake application device while overcoming a clearance. The wet-running multi-disc brake is designed such that the brake application device can be mechanically actuated and, via an actuating unit, engages a self-energizing device, which includes a pressure ring that can be pressed towards the rotor discs during braking independently from the rotational direction of the rotor discs.

A self-energizing disc brake includes a brake caliper held on a fixed brake carrier, an active-side and a reaction-side brake pad, which may be pressed against a brake disc, an actuating device with a self-energizing device and an adjuster device for compensating pad and/or disc wear. The self-energizing device has at least one pressure ram, in contact on the front face with the active-side pad by way of a split bearing and fixed by the end thereof facing the brake pad to a guide plate movably held in the brake carrier, designed such that the split bearing is enclosed by a seal arrangement when the self-energizing device is in a non-functioning state.

A pneumatic disc brake has a caliper which straddles a brake disc, brake pads pressable against the brake disc, wherein a brake-application-side brake pad can be actuated by a brake lever of a brake application device pivotable about an eccentric axis. Against the end side, the brake lever bears a brake ram which is coupled at the other side to the brake pad or to a guide plate coupled thereto. Two pressure rams are aligned in the same direction and spaced apart from the brake ram. The pressure rams are connected in each case to the caliper and to the brake pad or to the guide plate and have a self-energizing device. The caliper has spherical-cap-shaped bearing receptacles in which rest corresponding plain bearing elements, by which the brake lever, and the pressure rams are supported on the caliper.

Pneumatically actuable disc brake

A method is provided for actuating a wet multiple disc brake, running with cooling oil, especially for a road vehicle. Stationary and rotating radially oriented discs are pressed against one another during braking while overcoming a clearance. The method is characterized in that once the brake is released, the discs associated with each other are separated from each other to such an extent as to form an oil-free or substantially oil-free clearance, wherein the clearance is minimized prior to braking by advancing the discs towards each another.
