A floor cleaner including a including a body, a cleaning head pivotally coupled to the body, and a liquid distribution system. The cleaning head includes a first and a second cleaning roller for contacting a surface to be cleaned.

Floor cleaner

A floor cleaner including a including a base, an upright portion, and a recovery tank. The recovery tank includes a baffle configured to separate liquid and air from a liquid-laden stream entering the recovery tank.

A floor cleaner including a vacuum source, a handle, and a base. The handle is pivotally coupled to the base, the handle pivotable between an upright storage position and an inclined operating position, the base movable over a surface to be cleaned. The base includes a suction inlet in fluid communication with the vacuum source, a brushroll chamber including a rear wall, a brushroll in the brushroll chamber, the brushroll rotatable about a brushroll axis, and a brushroll cover releaseably attached to the base, the brushroll cover removable to access the brushroll chamber and the brushroll, and the brushroll chamber rear wall is attached to and removable with the brushroll cover.

A blade retention mechanism that includes a body and a catch. The catch is configured to engage a bit. A knurled nut is configured to engage the catch and the body such that it is movable. When the nut is moved between a first position and a second position the catch moves between a first position and a second position. A v-groove is formed in the body and is configured to receive and retain a bit when the catch is in the first position.

Bit retention mechanism

A floor cleaner including a recovery. The recovery tank is configured to contain a fluid drawn through a suction inlet from a surface to be cleaned by a vacuum source. The recovery tank includes a shutoff float. The shutoff float is movable between a first position and a second position. The shutoff float includes a float body, a float closure, and a first interconnecting member. The first interconnecting member engages a second interconnecting member to retain the float in the first position. In the first position, the shutoff float is spaced a distance from the suction air outlet, allowing air flow through the suction air outlet. The first interconnecting member engages the second interconnecting member to retain the shutoff float in the first position. In the second position, the shutoff float is adjacent the suction air outlet, inhibiting air flow through the suction air outlet.

A floor cleaner including a vacuum source, a supply tank configured to store a cleaning fluid, and a distribution nozzle in fluid communication with the supply tank. The distribution nozzle is configured to dispense the cleaning fluid onto a surface to be cleaned. The floor cleaner further includes a base movable over a surface to be cleaned, the base includes a suction inlet in fluid communication with the vacuum source, a brushroll chamber, a brushroll in the brushroll chamber, the brushroll rotatable about a brushroll axis. The base further includes a brushroll cover releasably attached to the base, the brushroll cover removable to access the brushroll chamber and the brushroll, the brushroll cover having a squeegee that contacts the brushroll. The brushroll axis is between a lower end of the base and the squeegee.

A floor cleaner including a vacuum source and a base movable over a surface to be cleaned. The base includes a front side, a back side opposite the front side, a lower end configured to be adjacent the surface to be cleaned, a suction inlet adjacent the front side and adjacent the lower end of the base and in fluid communication with the vacuum source, a brushroll rotatable about a brushroll axis, a first squeegee that extends from the lower end between the suction inlet and the back side of the base, the first squeegee configured to contact the surface to be cleaned. The base further includes a second squeegee that contacts the brushroll and the brushroll axis is between the lower end of the base and the second squeegee.

A surface cleaning apparatus comprises a brushroll that rotates about an axis. The brushroll defines a cylindrical portion and the axis extends centrally through the cylindrical portion. The brushroll also includes a rib that extends in a direction away from the axis. The rib includes a face extending along a line that is collinear with a secant through the cylindrical portion. A brush member extends from the face.

Surface cleaning apparatus

A work station comprises a mounting bracket adapted to be mounted to a surface. An upper arm and a lower arm are mounted to the mounting bracket for pivoting motion about a first vertical axis. A track is pivoted to the upper arm and the lower arm about a second vertical axis where the track supports a vertically displaceable carriage. The carriage may support a monitor and work platform where the work platform supports a key board tray. A lift system supports the carriage for vertical movement. Work station mounting systems are also provided for movably supporting a work platform.
