The methods and systems may, for example, communicate a message including data copied from a first data set and store messaging data describing the communicated message. As described, the methods and systems may then verify the communication of the message based on the first data set and the stored messaging data.

The addition of process agents into an application system allows a much simpler integration between business objects by placing the integrating components into separate, independently updateable process agents. Process agents observe business objects with which they are associated and communicate with other process agents. A system and method for compensating for disruptions to update transmissions is disclosed. A first application component stores an instance of a business object. The first application component reconciles the instance with data stored on a second application component. The first application component receives a business object update from the second application component. The first application component checks a reconciliation value associated with the business object update. If the first reconciliation value indicates the first business object update was sent after the reconciliation, the first application component applies the business object update to the instance.

Embodiments consistent with the present invention relate to methods and systems for verifying data of an application system. Consistent with exemplary embodiments, the method may generate a first business object and generate a second business object from the data related to the first business object. The method may then access metadata defining content included in the first and second business objects. The method may then verify a consistency of data in the first and second business objects according to a comparison of the first and second business objects based on the accessed metadata.
