This device for mounting a propeller blade in a hub, of the type in which a blade base is mounted in rotation in a hub housing by means of at least two bearings and where a preloading device permitting axially preloading the two bearings comprises a holding ring mounted between one of the two bearings and hub so as to allow an axial displacement of ring relative to hub, in that holding ring is mounted rotatingly between bearing and hub by means of rolling elements and helical tracks arranged to drive an axial displacement of ring during rotation of this ring, means being provided to cause ring to rotate according to a predefined law.

Device for mounting blades on a propeller hub with preloading of the bearings

A process of manufacturing at least a nut of a ball-type feed screw and nut system separately from its fastening element and then joining the nut to its fastening element by a connector so as to produce an assembly designed for the specific requirement of each use of the ball-type feed screw and nut system. The invention is used, in particular, in drive devices for machine tools.

Ball-type screw/nut systems and a process for producing them

In order to machine skew surfaces, adjacent cylindrical shaping rollers in adjacent relation are each freely mounted for rotation on roller support frames which are each capable of relative backward or forward longitudinal displacement under the action of a numerical control system. An abrasive belt which is applied against a portion of the periphery of the set of shaping rollers assumes during this portion of travel a configuration corresponding to the instantaneous envelope curve of the transverse cross-sections of the rollers and thus constitutes a tool which provides a variable profile for abrasive machining operations.
