A vehicle frame water baffle arrangement, a water baffle and method include a first closed section of a vehicle frame, a second closed section of the vehicle frame arranged adjacent the first closed section of the vehicle frame, and a water baffle. The water baffle has a body arranged complementarily within the first closed section to inhibit passage of water thereby within the first closed section and a water spout extending from the body of the water baffle into the second closed section to direct water arriving at the water baffle into the second closed section.

An acoustic spray foam control system and method for a vehicle includes an acoustic spray foam control baffle, a wedge member and acoustic spray foam. The acoustic spray foam control baffle is mounted within a cavity defined in a vehicle body of the vehicle. The acoustic spray foam control baffle has a tapered recess portion defining a tapered recess. The wedge member is complementarily received in the tapered recess of the tapered recess portion of the acoustic spray foam control baffle for applying force against the tapered recess portion to set the acoustic spray foam control baffle within the cavity. The acoustic spray foam is injected into the cavity on one side of the acoustic spray foam control baffle and contained thereby.

An acoustic spray foam control system and method are provided for a sunroof drain tube area in a vehicle. The system and method include an acoustic spray foam control baffle that is mounted within the sunroof drain tube area of the vehicle and a sunroof drain tube that is installed in the sunroof drain tube area by passing through the acoustic spray foam control baffle. The system and method also include acoustic spray foam that is injected into the sunroof drain tube area with flow of the acoustic spray foam controlled by the acoustic spray foam control baffle.

A vehicle body structure includes a vehicle roof member, a first panel, a second panel, and a serpentine-shaped reinforcement structure. The first panel connects with and depends downwardly from the vehicle roof member. The second panel connects with the first panel. The first panel and the second panel form, when connected, a vehicle pillar. The serpentine-shaped reinforcement structure includes a plurality of peak sections and a plurality of valley sections and is disposed in the vehicle pillar between the first panel and the second panel. The reinforcement structure is fixed to the first panel via a weld at a peak section. The reinforcement structure is closest to the second panel at a valley section. A method for manufacturing a vehicle body structure is also disclosed.

A C-pillar assembly for a vehicle that lacks a B-pillar, the C-pillar assembly including an inner reinforcement member, an outer reinforcement member, upper and lower hinge assemblies, and an outer garnish member. The outer reinforcement member is disposed over the inner reinforcement member. The inner and outer reinforcement members are secured to one another so as to define a C-pillar having, in cross section, a generally box-like shape. The outer reinforcement has an upper mounting location to which the upper hinge assembly is secured and a lower mounting location to which the lower hinge assembly is secured. A portion of the lower hinge assembly is disposed within a hinge pocket formed in the outer reinforcement member. The outer garnish member is secured to the outer reinforcement member and defines a slotted opening through which the lower hinge assembly extends.
