Single component compositions for making a moisture-cured polyurethane foam are disclosed. Foam produced from the compositions of the present invention produce very low foaming pressure due to their 60-95 percent open-cell content. After these compositions are applied and cure, they form a permanent seal around the perimeter of installed fenestration products.

A kit of parts useful for sealing a crack in a concrete surface by injecting a sealing material into the crack including a plurality of injection port members and deformable metal crimping sleeves. Each injection port member has a flat base which is attached to the concrete surface by a settable adhesive compound. Kit of parts for filling cracks with foamable polyurethane prepolymer

A method for filling cracks in concrete surfaces using a one-component, hydrophilic polyurethane prepolymer without the addition of any granular impregnating agents The prepolymer is provided in a hand-held aerosol container and is injected into the cracks through hollow injection ports that are adhered in place on the surfaces over the cracks and subsequently closed off when filled. The crack is filled from the bottom up to prevent the formation of air pockets in the crack.

Method for filling cracks in a concrete structure with foamable polyurethane prepolymer

The present invention discloses a foam frothing alternative for blowing or frothing single component foams using gases which are incapable of being liquified within the limits of DOT aerosol cans, referred to herein as non-liquefiable gases. In this invention, it is demonstrated that non-liquefiable gases such as CO.sub.2 and N.sub.2 O can be used to provide foams using conventional single component foam chemical raw materials. The present invention provides an adhesive/sealant, expanded by a non-liquefiable gas propelled from a container initially and expanded by a blowing agent consisting primarily or exclusively of a non-liquefiable gas and formulated from a moisture curable polyurethane prepolymer using a low molecular weight isocyanate of two or more functionality. In one or more variations, the compositions of the present invention contain solubility enhancers for non-liquefiable gases such as CO.sub.2 or supplemental propellants/liquefiable blowing agents, as well as other additives such as, for example, catalysts, fire retardants, and surfactants which include, but are not limited to cell openers.

Expansible sealant compositions and blowing agents

A mixing and dispensing nozzle adapted for attachment to an associated two or more component liquid dispensing gun for mixing and dispensing liquid foamable products which use reduced HFC, CFC or non-CFC or HFC foaming agents. The nozzle includes an internal mixing chamber having a mixing chamber outlet member which provides an outlet for foam mixed within the nozzle mixing chamber. The outlet tube has a tip portion with a re-entrant portion which extends rearwardly to define a generally V-shaped groove having an included angle.

Nozzle for mixing and dispensing reduced CFC and non-CFC foams

An improved dispensing gun for receiving and positioning a pair of aerosol containers and mixing and discharging the contents of the containers. The gun includes a combination cover unit and trigger plate pivotally affixed to a portion of a frame unit. The cover unit and trigger plate being positioned between an open, can loading position, a normally closed position and a contents discharge position. The gun also has a trigger carried by a handle and pivotably mounted for engagement with the cover unit and trigger plate. A mixing unit is also provided by the gun which includes a main body unit, a dispensing nozzle connected to the main body unit and a pair of removably positioned inlet elbows connecting the main body unit with outlets of associated aerosal can valve units.
