A system and method for securely streaming media. The system includes a gateway server that receives requests for access to a secured data resource from an end users. The request include an authorization ticket and a referring website. The gateway server validates the authorization ticket using a secret key shared with the referring website, and validates the referring website by verifying that referring website is on a white-list for the secured data resource. The gateway server selects a data server to service the request, and formats a data server access request containing the data server location and data server request parameter data and transmits the data server access request to the end users. When end users transmit the data server access requests to a data server, the data server validates the request and transmits it to the end user.

A recess filling mastic applicator having a novel tool-steering means and a straight torsional spring adjustable as to its effective length for causing the tool body to have a four point contact with the surface over which the tool body travels. The interior of the tool body receives mastic and a pressure plate is pivotally mounted in the body and a handle is pivotally connected to the plate so that the operator can press on the handle for not only holding the body against the flat surface but for also depressing the plate for forcing mastic from the tool for filling the recesses in the surface as the tool is moved thereover. The tool body steering means connects the handle to the pressure plate so that a twisting force applied to the handle will urge the leading end of the tool body to the right or to the left as desired by the operator and thus alter the direction of movement of the tool body.

A self-contained dry wall taper has a hollow elongated body for holding mastic and supports a roll of tape with tape feeding means to deliver the tape to tape applying wheels that in turn apply it to cover a joint between two wall board sections.A piston is slidably mounted in the hollow body and is automatically moved by a mechanism actuated by the rotating wheels, as they are moved over the wall board surface, to force a layer of mastic onto the tape just prior to it being applied to the surface. Novel tape feeding and tape cutting means are actuated by a single sleeve which is moved forwardly on the hollow body to initially feed the tape into engagement with the tape applying wheels and is moved rearwardly to actuate the tape-cutting mechanism for cutting the tape. A tape creasing disc can be swung into operative position by the operator when the tape is to be applied to an inner corner of a room and it is desired to provide a median crease along the length of the tape and for forcing this crease into the room corner as the mastic and tape are applied.
