A sensor cassette insertable into an analysis module for carrying out electrochemical measurement processes in sample fluids, including a sensor carrier which is essentially planar and carries electrochemical sensor elements for determining chemical and/or physical parameters of the sample fluids. The sensor elements are connected to conductor tracks formed on the sensor carrier. A cover part is arranged on the sensor carrier, in which at least one groove-shaped measuring channel that is intended for the flow of the sample fluid and opens towards the sensor carrier is formed, which measuring channel is connected to at least one electrochemical sensor element and is fluidly connected to at least one fluid connector arranged on the side facing away from the sensor carrier. The cover part is a two-component injection molded part having a hard component and a soft, component. The measuring channel is formed in the soft component over its entire length.

A method for monitoring the use of a consumable in a disposable design in multiple analyzers is disclosed. The method provides a disposable consumable; uses the consumable as intended during operation of the first analyzer; and collects usage-relevant information for the consumable concerning the intended use of the consumable during operation of the first analyzer. Usage-relevant data derived from the usage-relevant information is stored in a memory unit assigned to the consumable. The consumable may be removed and again provided in the first or second analyzer. The first or second analyzer partially reads the usage-relevant data from the memory unit, evaluates the usage-relevant data, and derives control signals concerning the permissibility and/or type of a further intended use of the consumable during operation of the analyzer as a reaction to the evaluation of the read usage-relevant data.

Method for monitoring the use of a consumable in a disposable design in one or more analyzers

A method for checking the quality of thermal coupling between a measuring cell and a thermostatted element of an analyzer, where the measuring cell can be exchangeably inserted into an analyzer to measure at least one parameter of a sample, and is provided with at least one sensor element in a measuring channel.
