A copy machine capable of producing indeterminate length copies of an exceptionally long original and including a terminal set of drive rollers which pull copy paper through the machine and a brake which is connected to a supply of continuous copy paper and which may be selectively engaged to produce a drag on the copy paper and place the paper in tension between the supply and the terminal rollers.

Continuous copier

An electrically operated copy machine capable of producing continuous copies of extended length originals is provided with a control switch which allows copying to be stopped at any position along the original and then allows either the copy to be cut and copying discontinued or the repositioning of the original and the continuation of copying at a different portion of the original.

Control circuitry for a continuous copy machine

Apparatus for providing an electrical signal when developer material for a copy machine recedes to predetermined level in a container for the material. The apparatus is positioned within the container and includes a light generating means directing light to a light to electric transducer. A cleaning member carried by a rotating arm is included which with rotation of the arm displaces any developer material that is present between the light generating means and the transducer means.

Developer material level sensor

Apparatus and method for making full color prints of a multicolor graphic original. The prints can be duplicates of the original or can be prints having colors for the various colors appearing in the original that have been synthesized to provide prints which are a 'recoloring' of the original. The color data for synthesizing is stored in a permanent, machine readable form for later readout and use in controlling operation of the apparatus in order that the print from the original with synthesized colors can be easily reproduced without having to manually adjust controls for placing the necessary color data into the apparatus to obtain the desired 'recolored' print.
