A universal transition molding for bridging two floor surfaces can include: a substantially symmetrical extruded profile of unitary construction having: (i) a substantially planar central portion, (ii) a pair of downwardly depending substantially planar wings, (iii) a pair of hinge sections joining the wings to opposing edges of the central portion, and (iv) a pair of vertical legs depending from a bottom surface of the central portion. Methods of manufacturing and installing the universal transition molding are described.

The present technology pertains to a details pane that is displayed in coordination with a file explorer interface. The details pane can display details including activities, comments, and previews for content items displayed in the details pane. In some embodiments, the content items displayed in the file explorer interface can be stored in and accessed from different services, and the details in the details pane can also be populated from diverse sources. In some embodiments, edits or navigations can be performed within a preview of the content item. In some embodiments, comments can be shown along with previews that show the comment located within the content item.

A versioned file storage system (VFS) and method for operating and using the same is disclosed. In an aspect, a mechanism is provided wherein a first VFS interface unit coupling the VFS to a local data storage system is replaced with a second VFS interface unit in a coordinated procedure for taking the first unit offline, making a reliable snapshot of its data and cache structure in the VFS, and loading the same data and cache structure into the second VFS interface brought online. The first and second VFS interfaces transfer the necessary data to achieve the switch through respective side-loading daemons running in each interface. Clients in the local data storage system experience minimal interruption of services in the VFS.

Systems and methods for restoring an interface to a global file system

Exemplary embodiments relate to methods and systems for transferring a user's messaging history from one device to another. A user's primary device, storing the official truth of the user's messaging history, establishes an end-to-end encrypted session with a new device, using a first decryption key during initial session setup. The primary device may conglomerate all or a portion of the messages comprising the user's messaging history into a data blob which is encrypted and sent to a blob store. An E2E encrypted message is sent from the primary device to the new device, via an intermediate server. The E2E encrypted message includes a second key for decrypting the data blob and a pointer to the location of data blob on the blob store. The new device retrieves the data blob from the blob store and decrypts the data blob using the second key to extract plaintext versions of the user's messages and adds the messages to the messaging application on the new device. Multiple data blobs may be sent from the primary device to the new device until all or a desired subset of the user's messaging history is present on the new device.

A Keyway Trigger System with a dry fire prevention nock is provided for use in a crossbow. The System ensures proper, full engagement of the dry fire prevention nock with a crossbow string such that the crossbow will only fire when an arrow is loaded correctly. The nock is received in a slotted opening forming a keyway adapted to be engaged by surfaces of the profiled dry fire prevention nock such that only when an arrow is properly loaded into the keyway, aligned with trigger latch members and fully engaged with the crossbow string then the trigger moves from a non-firing position to a firing position allowing the arrow to be fired. The Keyway Trigger System prevents dry fire and partial dry fire, eliminates risk of damage to the crossbow, eliminates potential risk of injury to a user, and improves accuracy and reliability of the flight trajectory of the arrow.

In one embodiment, a computer system accesses for a first user contact information of one or more second users. The computer system then determines one or more contemporaneous attributes of the first user, determines one or more contemporaneous attributes of each of the second users, and then dynamically sorts the contact information of the second users based at least on the contemporaneous attributes of the first user and the contemporaneous attributes of the second users. The computer system then provides the sorted contact information of the second users for display to the first user.
