A tire () having a tread () includes a plurality of laterally spaced, circumferentially extending continuous ribs () defining grooves (). Each groove has oppositely facing sidewalls () and a bottom surface (). A first set of stone bumpers is provided with each stone bumper () projecting laterally from one of the sidewalls with an end () extending towards the other sidewall of the groove. A second set of stone bumpers is provided with each stone bumper (') projecting from the other sidewall with an end () extending towards the one sidewall of the groove. Each stone bumper of the first and second sets of stone bumpers 1) is integral with the associated sidewall and with a portion of the bottom surface of the groove, and 2) includes a cutout () defining a surface that is spaced from and in opposing relation to the bottom surface of the groove.

Disclosed herein is a rural mailbox indicator and security lock including an elongated rod designed to be moved between three positions, a first position indicating that the box is unlocked but no mail is there for pick-up, a second position wherein the box is open and mail is in the box to be picked up and a third position indicating that the box is securely locked against unauthorized entry. The elongated rod is rotatably mounted on a cam which is adjacent a locking mechanism, with the cam having a cut out portion designed to receive a latch of the locking mechanism in the third mentioned position of the elongated rod described above, with the cam further including an arcuate rim designed to interengage with a catch formed on the mail box door so that in the position of the elongated rod corresponding to locked condition, the door is prevented from being opened until the locking mechanism is released by a key.

Rural mail box indicator and security lock

A dynamic anchor composed of two laterally positioned anchor flukes for facile penetration into the bottom structure of a water course, and a retractor to withdraw the flukes from the bottom. The retractor is mounted for relative reciprocal movement along the longitudinal axis of between the flukes. Two anchor cables are employed. The first cable is connected directly to the fluke plate and is used to anchor the craft. By pulling the first cable, the fluke plate is pulled forward to dig in and hold the craft. The second cable is reaved around a pivot carried by the retractor and is secured to the fluke plate. Thus when the second cable is pulled in, there is created a force to pull the retractor and fluke plate in opposite directions in order to cause the flukes to be removed from the water course bottom.
