Novel 1-carbamoyl-1,2,4-triazoles, processes for their production, and herbicidal compositions and methods are described. The compounds are particularly useful for the pre-weed emergence control of the graminaccous weeds crabgrass, barnyard grass, yellow foxtail and Johnson grass.

1-Carbamoyl-1,2,4-triazole herbicidal agents

New fungicidal compounds, and compositions of them and their uses and manufacture are described. The compounds are fungicidal complexes of a metal salt with certain, N,N-disubstituted carbamoyl imidazoles.

New compounds are described which are of value for regulating of plant growth, as well as compositions containing them and methods of using them, are described. The compounds have the formula: ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl or together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached from a heterocyclic ring, Y is alkyl, alkoxy or halo, n is 0 or an integer 1 to 3, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each methyl or ethyl, and X is one equivalent of an anion.
