In an embodiment, an injection simulation device is provided including a housing defining a channel, the housing comprising a proximal end and a distal end, a plunger comprising a plunger rod body having a proximal end and a distal end and a stopper disposed at the distal end of the plunger rod, the plunger movable proximally and distally within the channel; and a friction feature associated with the housing, the friction feature for interfacing with the plunger rod, wherein the plunger moves in a distal direction relative to the housing to simulate medicament delivery and in a proximal direction to reset the injection simulation device, wherein the friction feature optionally causes differential resistance on the plunger rod, when the plunger rod moves in either the distal or proximal direction.

An electrical box layout tool includes a first pointed end, a first cylindrical section, a stopper, a second cylindrical section, and a second pointed end. The first cylindrical section and the second cylindrical section are concentrically connected with the stopper in such a way that the first cylindrical section and the second cylindrical section are oppositely positioned from each other. The first pointed end is concentrically connected with the first cylindrical section while the second pointed end is concentrically connected with the second cylindrical section. The electrical box layout tool is used to create an opening within a drywall or paneling so that the drywall or paneling is able to accommodate an electrical box that is mounted on a framing stud.

A method of continuously forming, filling and sealing of packages with a continuous web of film material is disclosed and comprises the steps of providing a continuous web of film material and folding the web to provide confronting sides joined along a bottom edge and forming a vertical seal at spaced intervals along the web. This process forms a series of horizontally disposed pouches having opposed sidewalls separated by the vertical seals with each pouch being unsealed along a top edge. The pouches are then opened by separating the opposed sidewalls and are then filled with a product. After the pouches are filled, the top edge of each pouch is sealed together to enclose the filled pouches by training the pouches onto a horizontal rotary sealer having a heated circular sealer plate and progressively forming a continuous horizontal seal as the top edge of each pouch is being continuously moved along with a circumference of the heated circular sealer plate while at the same time applying an adequate temperature to provide a sealing action and allowing the top edge of each pouch to be joined together and smoothly sealed to enclose the filled pouches. This sealing method enables the packages to receive a greater amount of fill while still being able to provide a smooth, uniform seal.

Lavatory

A self-propelled remotely controlled pilot vehicle adapted for use on raiad tracks to monitor hazardous conditions and obstacles on the railroad tracks. The pilot vehicle precedes a train along the railroad tracks at a distance which will allow the train to come to a complete stop in the event the pilot vehicle encounters a hazardous condition on the track. The pilot vehicle is equipped with a sensor array which measures a variety of different parameters such as the presence of noxious gases, moisture in the atmosphere or at ground level, and breakage in one or both rails of the track. The pilot vehicle is also equipped with a television camera which provides a visual image of the railroad track ahead of the pilot vehicle to the engineer of the train. An infrared camera which is mounted on the front of the pilot vehicle generates an infrared image of the tracks and is used during darkness or in severe weather conditions to monitor the tracks for unsafe conditions or to detect animals or humans from body radiation. Information gathered by the pilot vehicle's sensor array is supplied to a computer on board the pilot vehicle and is transmitted back to the train to enable the train's engineer to be apprised of conditions existing on the tracks ahead of the train in order to have time to react to potential hazards and dangerous situations on the railroad tracks.

A releasably attachable manual dispensing aid is operable with a syringe having a syringe body and a syringe plunger that is movable within the syringe body. The dispensing aid includes a dispensing aid body that is releasably attachable to the syringe body. The dispensing aid further includes a dispensing aid plunger that is attachable to the syringe plunger, and has a slide that is slidable within the dispensing aid body. A fine adjustment, bottom stop, Chaney stop, and/or drag brake for the slide are optionally provided. An electronic linear position measuring device has a first portion fixed to the dispensing aid body and a second portion fixed to the dispensing aid plunger. Optionally, the dispensing aid includes a microprocessor that receives as inputs a calibration value for a particular syringe and the position signal, and determines as an output signal the true volume of liquid displaced by the syringe plunger movement.

The present invention comprises a multi-component mattress comprising a pillow top detachably connected to a mattress core. The mattress core comprises a plurality of hydraulic cylinders, liquid impervious covers for the cylinders, a variety of foam cushions positioned on top of the so-encased cylinders, a resilient edging holding the cylinders in place and defining the outer perimeter of the mattress core, a moisture barrier, and a cover encasing the core members. Upon assembly, water is added to the cylinders. A unique feature of this mattress is that it is manufactured and sold in knock-down, ready-to-assemble form. This provides for compactness in shipping, ease of handling, and a substantial reduction in consumer cost. The mattress is used in combination with a planar support platform which also is disclosed.
