Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for managing security events via a graphical user interface (GUI), comprising receiving an indication of a first security event occurring in an environment, determining a priority value of the first security event, and creating a first identifier of the first security event, wherein the first identifier is a visual icon of a given shape. The implementations further include assigning a size and color to the first identifier of the first security event based on the priority value and generating, for display on the GUI, the first identifier of the first security event, wherein the GUI is configured to display identifiers of one or more security events in a selectable layout of a plurality of selectable layouts, wherein selection of the first identifier generates a panel of selectable actions that can be executed to address the first security event.

Systems and methods for managing security events using a graphical user interface

Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for preserving selections from multiple search queries. An implementation may comprise receiving multiple search queries from a user and storing user selections from each search query result in a temporary database. Contents of the temporary database may be generated for simultaneous display with search query results on a graphical user interface. A user may then select actions to perform in relation to the selections in the temporary database and the system may transmit commands to execute the actions.

In this way, the operator can determine at a glance the number and type of alert information from the topology map without the need to perform additional selection and navigation steps within the graphical user interface.

The present invention is a foldable device for retrieving golf, tennis, or other balls. The invention comprises an elongated shaft having handles at one end and a pair of elongated arm members hinged to the shaft at an opposite end. Material vendors send notification items to the computer library service for distribution to selectors at member libraries. Selectors take actions on notification records such as selecting, rejecting, forwarding, or deferring them. Library acquisitions staff export selected notification records, load them into each library's integrated library system, and complete the order electronically from the integrated library system. The library's holding symbol is automatically set on a corresponding computer library service bibliographic database record for the item to note addition of the item to library's holdings.

System and method for assisting libraries and vendors with selection and acquisition of materials

An apparatus and method are provided that enable T1 (or E1) telecommunications frames to be transmitted between T1 (or E1) telecommunications switches over a high bandwidth packet-switched network. The apparatus includes trunk interface logic and network translation logic. The trunk interface logic is coupled a central office switch via a central office switch trunk, and receives the telecommunications frames from the central office switch. The network translation logic is coupled to the trunk interface logic. The network translation logic translates the telecommunications frames into network packets that the telecommunications frame data may be transferred over the high bandwidth packet-switched network.

For example, if there be eight layers then the chemical or chemicals in any layer is subject to be changed by an electromagnetic radiation of a wave length different than for any of the other seven layers. In this manner, with eight layers it is possible to have an eight bit byte. Actually, under premutations and combinations it is possible to have as many as eight bit bytes from the eight layers. It is conceivable that there may be more than eight layers such as sixteen layers of thirty-two layers. There is the possibility of storing large amounts of information in a small volumn.
