A dispensing closure assembly provides for the dispensing of fluid from a fluid container. The dispensing closure assembly includes a cap and a dispensing cover which is movably supported with respect to the cap. The dispensing cover includes a distal tip through which the fluid is dispensed. The cover further includes an outer surface extending from the distal tip and continuous therewith defining a fluid drainage surface where residual fluid drains. A finger contacting surface is provided on the cover and space from the fluid draining surface. A fluid containment well is defined between the fluid drainage surface and the finger contacting surface for retaining fluid drained therealong preventing fluid contact along the finger contacting surface.

Dispensing closure assembly

A squeezable, multi-layer, structurally self-supporting container capable of dispensing a controlled amount of a liquid product. The container comprises an external layer of a polyolefin material, an internal layer formed of a polyolefin material, and an intermediate layer positioned between the external layer and the internal layer. The intermediate layer is formed of a barrier material blended with an adhesive resin and a carrier.

Squeezable multilayered container

A unit dose storage and dispenser cartridge for a unit dose of an ingredient includes a storage and dispense container dispensably containing a unit dose of the ingredient. The container includes a cylindrical interior wall defining a cartridge passageway having an ingredient-containing ingredient storage cavity portion. The container further defines a dispense opening communicating with the ingredient storage cavity portion and includes a first scaling member removably sealing the dispense opening. A dispense piston is movable by a dasher rod through the ingredient storage cavity portion so as to dispense the unit dose of the ingredient through the dispense opening. An openable vent is positioned in registry with the cartridge passageway.

Unit dose dispense package

A package, with a nozzle, a chamber, a cap which fits over the nozzle, and a pin attached to the interior of the cap which fits into the opening of the nozzle, for storing and dispensing a liquid, having an improved closure mechanism comprising at least one rectangular stopping member and at least one rectangular band in the interior of the cap and at least one guide flange on the nozzle. The package also has a plurality of guide ribs located around the nozzle to aid in the proper placement of the cap. The package is designed to be leak proof, nonclogging, able to dispense the liquid precisely, and can be easily opened even when the pin has bonded to the opening of the nozzle without breaking or shearing the pin.
