Disclosed is a two-part composition for sealing natural stone or masonry, and methods of use. The two-part composition is comprised of (1) a first part comprising a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) particulate; a low evaporation rate organic solvent; and water; and (2) a second part comprising a blend of a plurality of liquid resin formulations.

Natural stone sealer compositions

This invention relates to polymeric compositions for application onto natural stone in order to provide for long-term chemical, stain, and water resistance, along with antimicrobial properties. Many natural, unsealed stones do not have stain, etch, or water resistance. The described compositions were developed using a technology of chemical grafting that involves the use of prepolymers, monomers, catalysts, graft initiators, wetting agents, antimicrobial agents, and other ingredients. The composition, when thus applied to the stone surface allows it to obtain a graft polymerization, thereby forming a polymer film that is chemically attached to the natural stone, rather than typical physical bonding of other sealer compositions. The natural stones react with a graft initiator in the composition, which creates the reaction sites on the natural stone surface via free radical mechanisms. This in turn renders the natural stone to be receptive to attachment of monomers/prepolymers forming a polymeric film chemically bonded to the natural stone which then has the desired properties in terms of resistance to staining, etching, water penetration, etc., used in homes and light commercial applications, as well as for exterior use on building facades, monuments and the like.

A system and process for managing the migrating enhancements into a production software system is described. Enhancements are first migrated to a model system. After any issues are identified and addressed, the enhancements are migrated to the production software system. An electronic change management process is provided for assisting a developer in providing information about an enhancement to a change manager. An assurance tool of migration strategies is provided for tracking changes and avoiding conflicts between the enhancement and the model and production software systems. Information gathered in the change management may be used for providing an objective evaluation of developers of enhancements.

System and process for management of changes and modifications in a process

A pH-measuring method and device for monitoring and then correcting for electrode drift is provided. The device includes a pH-measuring electrode and more than one reference electrode. During operation, the pH-measuring device is place in contact with a sample. The pH value measured at each electrode pair is due to the electrical potential difference between the pH electrode and the reference electrode. The maximum and minimum pH values are determined, and then the remaining pH values are averaged together to generate an overall average pH. The maximum and minimum pH values are subtracted from the average pH to generate a difference which is then compared to a user-defined drift level to determine if a particular electrode is deficient. The pH values from deficient electrodes are not considered when the overall pH of the sample is determined.

Method and device for eliminating electrode drift

A four-way closet spud insertion tool for inserting a spud into a inlet/outlet hole of a plumbing fixture. The closet spud includes a couple having at least one lug protruding inwardly therefrom and a gasket circumscribing the couple, the gasket having a flared portion that is to be inserted into the inlet/outlet hole of the fixture with a portion of the couple, the diameter of the flared portion being greater than the diameter of the hole. The spud insertion tool comprises a cross-shaped body having four arms extending from a center point thereof, each of the arms terminating in a different head, each of the heads being configured to be insertable into a respectively sized couple, the force being sufficient to compress the flared portion of the gasket such that the flared portion can pass through the hole of the fixture.

Closet spud tool

A waste line trap is provided to prevent foreign objects and debris from being flushed through commodes into waste line systems. The waste line trap has a solid cylinder with continuous outer and inner walls. A plurality of angled fins are spaced equidistantly on the inner wall and extend outwardly toward the center of the cylinder. The fins have downwardly extending top beveled edges which terminate in vertically extending inner beveled side edges. The trap is installed in the discharge line of a commode and functions to catch foreign objects and debris from entering the main sewerage line.
