In various embodiments, an engine mount may comprise a mount base configured to physically engage at least a portion of an engine positioned adjacent thereto so as to secure the engine in a mounted position relative to the engine mount, the mount base comprising: a base component; an engine positioning element protruding from the base component and configured to restrict a range of motion of the engine in at least one direction; and at least one base orifice extending through a thickness of the base component and configured to receive a protruding portion of the engine within an internal volume of the base orifice; and an attachment hub comprising one or more attachment features configured to receive at least a portion of an external engine tool and engage the external engine tool such that at least a portion of the external engine tool is arranged adjacent the mount base.

A Blister Packaging Device having an Invertible Nesting Tray and Method of Use. The nesting tray is defined by blister nests on opposing sides of the same tray, so as to allow the user to flip over the nesting tray to dump a just-completed blister package, while simultaneously loading the nest on the opposing side of the tray for the sealing of a new blister package. In addition to being invertible, the nesting tray is slidable from a distal position to a sealing position (under the heating press plate) along a pair of parallel rails. Nesting trays are removable from the parallel rails so that they can be exchanged with nesting trays for forming blister packages of another configuration. By elimination of a rotating turntable of nesting trays, the Device provides a more compact blister packaging machine than was previously possible.

A method for a voter to vote using an electoral system. An electoral system includes a computing system for accessing a database having first and second data sets correlated to a roster of eligible voters and to a voting record that is associated with each of those eligible voters. The method of voting includes the voter providing indentifying information, which causes the computing system to verify that the voter is on the roster of eligible voters and eligible to vote in the election. The voter interacts with the computing system to cast a preliminary vote and then commits the preliminary vote. The voter may also interact with the computing system to perform a government accountability program in which elected officials may be voted on for sanctions or removal from office when the elected official has lost the confidence of the associated electoral district.

A Collapsible Rotary Blister Sealer with Rolling Heater Coating is disclosed. The disclosed blister sealer comprises a lightweight, tubular frame, detachable legs and a lightweight, modular turntable. Further disclosed is a sealer that is mountable on a table-top or other horizontal surface. Said disclosed turntable is height-adjustable; easily removable, and further includes an indexing means for stopping said turntable at predetermined angular positions. The disclosed press of the present blister sealer may be height- and pressure-adjustable, and said frame may further include a strut to further strengthen said frame when greater pressures are desired from said press. It is further disclosed that said sealer include a unique heater plate assembly that permits easy access to the heating coils and further may include a protective sheath to prevent damage to said heater plate assembly. Still further disclosed is a protective guard to protect the user from the heater plate assembly by a guard comprising a metal top and three plastic side panels that are easily replaceable. In a further embodiment of the present invention, a rotary collapsible blister sealer that can seal clamshell packages around items is also disclosed. In yet another embodiment of the present invention, the sealer includes a rolling heater coating for preventing materials from sticking from the bottom of the heater assembly.

A hoist is collapsible into a storage box which is preferably mounted in place of a rear bumper on a pickup truck. The hoist has a tubular base which houses the swing arm of the hoist in the collapsed mode. The base of the storage box is reinforced to support the forces of the hoist and allow it to rotate 360 degrees.

The invention is a pitching system with a pitching mechanism. A control panel allows a user to separately control ball speed and tilt angle. The control panel also displays an estimated height at which the ball will cross the plate for the selected ball speed and tilt angle. In the preferred embodiment, a vertical row of lamps shows the estimated ball height. The control panel can include symbology to indicate strike zones for batters of different heights. To operate the batting cage, the batter selects the desired ball speed. The control panel displays an estimated ball height based on the selected ball speed and current tilt angle. The batter then adjusts the tilt angle of the pitching mechanism until a desired ball height is reached. The batter then starts the machine. In this manner, the batter avoids wasting balls selecting a preferred choice of ball speed and height. The batter can also change ball speed and tilt angle during a pitching sequence, to alter the strike zone through which balls are pitched.

A device for guiding farm equipment is disclosed. This device includes two trench forming chisel type devices attached to the planter or the initial implement used to set up the rows in a row type crop. These trenches are formed generally spaced to match the front wheels of the tractor on its next trip down the field. The tractor is subsequently supplied with a front mounted framework fastened to the front axle of the tractor. This framework supports two trench following lenticular discs capable of supporting a substantial amount of the tractors front weight. These discs may further be formed with a central rib. These trenches may be used in subsequent operations with implements of a smaller size by making the framework adjustable so as to allow the trench following discs to be placed at different widths as well as supplying structure for raising and lowering each guide independently.

The present invention relates to a container for storing a quantity of cereal and milk, the container including an upper section, a lower section, a partition separating the upper and lower sections, and a spoon. The upper section has a vent hole therein. The lower section defines a second cavity dimensioned to contain a quantity of cereal therein. The lower section has two channels formed therein, the channels having a wide end and a narrow end. The partition is secured to the upper section forming a milk cavity for holding a quantity of milk therein. The partition is provided with a pair of ports therethrough which are adapted to permit the flow of milk out from the milk cavity. The partition is equipped with a pair of post members formed thereon. The post members have bulb shaped post heads at one end which are adapted to be received in the wide end of the channels in the lower section to releasably secure the two sections together. The spoon is releasably secured within a track on the underside of the partition. The spoon serves dual functions. The first function of the spoon is to gate the ports on the partition. The second function of the spoon is to assist the user in eating the contents of the container.

A microwave utensil for heating two different foods having different microwave absorbing properties allows the foods to be heated simultaneously without overheating one of the foods. The utensil includes a lower vessel to receive a first food and a second vessel which is nested within the first vessel to displace a portion of the first food item. A second food item is placed in the second vessel such that the first food item shields the sides of the second food.

A hose guide arranged for permitting reorientation and guidance of a fluid in a pneumatic hose is provided to include a central support post mounting an abutment disc at its upper end, and rotatably mounting roller guide discs below the abutment guide disc to permit orientation and alignment of hoses along the guide discs relative to and below the abutment disc.

A vise assembly is provided for use in conjunction with a work device of the type having a working table and a base for supporting the table in an elevated, working position. The vise assembly comprises a pair of jaws selectively movable towards and away from each other along a guide bar to effect clamping about a workpiece. The jaws are attached adjustably to the work device so that the jaws can be repositioned to accommodate various workpiece configurations and hold workpieces in a desired orientation. Additional support is provided for workpieces by an adjustable work bar that is preferably pivotally attached to the work device. The work bar can be moved upwardly to supplement the support for the workpiece provided by the jaws and working table.

Method and apparatus for cooking in a microwave oven individual cuts of meat such as rib steaks and prime rib. The implement comprises a base of generally rectangular configuration which is formed of a thermoplastic sheet, such as plexiglass, and is provided adjacent each corner thereof with an upstanding post. The implement also includes a generally rectangular floating member formed of plexiglass having apertures adjacent each corner thereof which are adapted to slideably receive therein the aforementioned posts which are provided on the base of the implement. The individual cut of meat is disposed on the base of the implement and the floating member receives in the apertures thereof, the posts, and floats downwardly on the posts until it is in contact with and resting on the cut of beef to be cooked. The floating member, when in operative position resting upon the cut of beef, permits cooking of the cut of beef around the outer edges thereof leaving the center warm but rarer than the outer edges thereof. The degree of doneness of the cut of beef is determined by the time it is exposed to the microwave energy within the microwave oven. A modification wherein a plurality of cuts of beef may be simultaneously cooked and a plurality of floating members are used, certain of which also function as bases for the cuts of beef.

Method and apparatus for cooking

A capacitive transducer providing an output for a signal with respect to an on-off mode which depends on a signal having a step function, the signal source is fed to a transistor or suitable amplifier having its base connected to a capacitance sensing means. Resistors are provided for appropriate biasing, current limiting and drain functions as well as capacitors for capacitance balancing purposes. The capacitance sensing means can comprise a touch switch which when touched has its capacitance increased causing the device to function. The change in capacitance can be registered with respect to the rise time or the fall time of the signal, or the leading or trailing edge of the wave. The transistor or amplifier is connected to a load so that when a change of capacitance is sensed, the change will be registered. Other embodiments can incorporate differential amplification means and means to drive the active components with the voltage of the signal source or the clock voltage. The transducer element maybe incorporated into mechanical moving elements that provide an electrical analog of such movement.

Capacitive transistorized signaling device

An electronic device incorporating a circuit for providing a signal with respect to an on or off mode dependent upon the degree of capacitance. The invention comprises a first and basic embodiment utilizing a signal source having a slope of a step function or specifically one having a fast rise time initiated for example by a clock element. The operative signal criteria demands that the length and slope thereof respectively have an effective amplitude and an effective frequency compatible with the circuit components. The signal source is fed to a transistor or suitable amplifier having its base connected to a capacitance sensing means. Resistors are provided for appropriate biasing, current limiting and drain functions as well as capacitors for capacitance balancing purposes. The capacitance sensing means can comprise a touch switch which when touched has its capacitance increased causing the device to function. The transistor or amplifier is connected to a load so that when a change of capacitance is sensed, the change will be registered. Other embodiments can incorporate differential amplification means and means to drive the active components with the voltage of the signal source or the clock voltage. Alternative embodiments of this invention incorporate capacitance sensing means in the form of transducers which can operate in a linear or a sequential mode. The transducers functionally incorporate a change of capacitance by means of moving mechanical elements so that when such change in capacitance is detected by the circuit it will provide an on or off sensing for the circuit or an analog of the change in capacitance. Thus, a reading of the extent of mechanical movement of a mechanically moving object can be transduced into an electrical function or output having substantial linearity. In summation, the circuit of this invention can be used for a transducer, or a solid state switch.
