Systems and methods are provided for transferring fluid between a container and a reservoir. In an embodiment, a system may include a container having an interior volume configured to hold a volume of fluid. An adapter may be associated with the container for providing fluid communication with the volume of fluid. A receiver may be configured to be fluidly coupled with a reservoir. The receiver may be configured to releasably engage the adapter, and may include a valve configured to be opened when the adapter is engaged with the receiver to allow fluid transfer between the container and the reservoir.

Fluid filling system

A fluid sensing safety may include a pump, and a prime mover configured to drive the pump. A fluid vessel may be associated with the pump. A sensing system may be configured to determine the presence of fluid within the fluid vessel.

Fluid sensing safety

An internal combustion engine may include a first piston reciprocatingly disposed in a first cylinder, and a second piston reciprocatingly disposed in a second cylinder. A crankshaft may be coupled with the first piston and the second piston for rotational motion associated with reciprocating movement of at least one of the first piston and the second piston. A combustion chamber may be fluidly coupled with the first cylinder and the second cylinder. An ignition source may be at least partially disposed within the combustion chamber. An intake valve may provide selective fluid communication between an intake system and the combustion chamber, and an exhaust valve may provide selective fluid communication between an exhaust system and the combustion chamber.

Multiple cylinder engine

A pressure washer system includes a fluid pump having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. A flow sensor is in fluid communication with one of the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. An internal combustion engine is in driving communication with the fluid pump. A control module is mounted to the fluid pump. The control module is configured to receive an indication of flow through the fluid pump and to control a starting operation of the internal combustion engine to start the internal combustion engine in response to receiving the indication of flow through the fluid pump when the internal combustion engine is not running.

Pressure washer system

An electric starting system is provided for an engine. The electric starting system may include a self-contained housing configured to be mounted between an engine and a tool driven by the engine. The electric starting system may also include an electric motor mounted to the housing, the electric motor configured rotationally engage an output shaft of the engine to effectuate starting of the engine.

A valve arrangement including a release valve. The valve arrangement controls a cylinder assembly including a first port and a second port, and a cylinder slideably housing a piston for movement between an extended position and a retracted position. The valve arrangement includes a valve assembly in fluid communication with the source of fluid pressure and with the first port and the second port to control fluid flow between the source and the first port and second port, and a release valve fluidly connected to the first port and to the second port, the release valve being operable to control flow of fluid from the first port and from the second port. The release valve is movable between a closed position and an open position. Fluid flows from both the first port and the second port simultaneously when the release valve member is in the open position.

Valve arrangement including release valve

A clamp for clampingly engaging a portion of a workpiece and for lifting the workpiece from a work surface. The clamp comprises a fluid actuated piston and cylinder assembly, a frame assembly, first and second clamp arms supported by the frame assembly for pivotal movement about respective first and second pivot axes and axial movement parallel to the longitudinal axis between an unclamped position and a clamped and lifted position, first and second pivot pins respectively defining the first and second pivot axes, first and second slider members respectively supported in first and second tracks for axial movement relative to frame assembly and respectively supporting the first and second pivot pins for axial movement along the first and second tracks relative to the frame assembly, first and second link pins supported proximate the opposite ends of the first and second clamp arms, respectively, the first link pin being movable along the first arcuate track and the first track and the second link pin being moveable along the second arcuate track and the second track, first and second link members connecting the first and second link pins, respectively, to the piston such that movement of piston between the extended position and the retracted position causes movement of the first and second clamp arms between the unclamped position and the clamped and lifted position.

Clamping and lifting mechanism

A valve arrangement including a release valve. The valve arrangement controls a piston of a cylinder assembly upon interruption of a source of fluid pressure supplied to the cylinder assembly, the cylinder assembly including a first port and a second port and slideably housing the piston for movement between an extended position and a retracted position. The valve arrangement includes a valve assembly in fluid communication with the source of fluid pressure and with the first port and the second port to control fluid flow between the source of fluid pressure on the first port and between the source of fluid pressure on the second port, and a release valve fluidly connected to the first port and to the second port, the release valve being operable to control flow of fluid from the first port and from the second port. The release valve includes a release valve body including a release valve bore in fluid communication with the first port and with the second port, the release valve body further including a release valve seat, and a release valve member movable between a closed position, in which the release valve member engages the release valve seat to prevent fluid flow through the release valve bore, and an open position, in which fluid flows from at least one of the first port and the second port and through the release valve bore. Preferably, the release valve includes a manually engageable portion operable to allow fluid flow from the first port and the second port.

A clamp for clampingly engaging a portion of a workpiece and for lifting the workpiece from a work surface. The clamp comprises a fluid actuated pistol and cylinder assembly, a frame assembly, first and second clamp arms supported by said frame assembly for pivotal movement about respective first and second pivot axes and axial movement parallel to said longitudinal axis between an unclamped position and a clamped and lifted position, first and second pivot pins respectively defining said first and second pivot axes, first and second slider members respectively supported in first and second tracks for axial movement relative to frame assembly and respectively supporting said first and second pivot pins for axial movement along said first and second tracks relative to said frame assembly, first and second link pins supported proximate the opposite ends of said first and second clamp arms, respectively, said first link pin being movable along said first arcuate track and said first track and said second link pin being movable along said second arcuate track and said second track, first and second link members connecting said first and second link pins, respectively, to the piston such that movement of piston between said extended position and said retracted position causes movement of said first and second clamp arms between the unclamped position and the clamped and lifted position. As the piston is moved from the extended position to an intermediate position, the clamp arms are pivoted to a clamped position. As the piston is moved from the intermediate position to the retracted position, the clamp arms are moved to the clamped and lifted position and the slider members are moved in the tracks, respectively, so that said arcuate portions are substantially misaligned with said arcuate tracks to prevent the clamp arms from moving to an unclamped position.
