A method and system for providing playback of air traffic control (ATC) communications for a pilot of an aircraft has been developed. First, an audio communication is received from the ATC for the pilot of the aircraft. The audio communication is segmented into three separate audio channels including: a raw channel of the audio communication as received, an enhanced channel of a filtered version of the audio communication, and a synthesized channel of a speech synthesized version of the audio communication. An identification function identifies segments of each audio communication with reference to identifying data for the aircraft. The separate audio channels are then stored in an electronic memory for later retrieval by the pilot of the aircraft.

System and method for enhanced playback of air traffic control communication

A display system includes a display device and a processing system. The display device includes at least one display region. The processing system receives motion data indicative of relative motion between the display device and images, viewed by a user, on or through the at least one display region. The processing system supplies visual cue commands that cause only a first visual cue to be generated on or adjacent to the left peripheral side and only a second visual cue to be generated on or adjacent to the right peripheral side or only the first visual cue to be generated on or adjacent to the top peripheral side and only the second visual cue to be generated on or adjacent to the bottom peripheral side, and to selectively vary either the positions of the first and second visual cues, or the positions of the first and second visual cues.

Methods and systems are provided for displaying transcriptions of radio communication transcription for an aircraft. The method comprises capturing audio signals of radio communication traffic to and from the aircraft. The captured audio signals are preprocessed to divide the signals into independent spoken utterances. Each spoken utterance is transcribed using a speech recognition decoder that utilizes an air traffic control (ATC) speech recognition model and classification data is extracted from the transcription of each spoken utterance. The transcription of each spoken utterance is logged with reference to the classification data and a textual display of the transcription is provided to a crew member of the aircraft.

The system receives an audio signal comprising an audio tag, a desired audio signal and an undesired audio signal. One or more computers access a three-dimensional digital model of the object and automatically generate a selected number of versions of supports for manufacture of the object. An image of the generated supports is displayed along with the object for visual perception by a user. The user visually observes the displayed versions of supports and object and uses the images to evaluate whether manufacturing the object by additive manufacturing is viable and whether the additive manufacturing supports are optimized. When viable, the object may be built by additive manufacturing using the optimized additive manufacturing supports to support the object.

A computing system determines, based on the temperature, an expected angle of the bearing relative to a base line. The computing system superimposes a first line on the image, the first line indicating the expected angle. Furthermore, the computing system superimposes a second line on the image, the second line indicating the actual angle.

The system, for example, may include, but is not limited to a processor communicatively coupled to an input system and a memory. The processor may be configured to receive a voice command, determine how many of a plurality of voice controllable systems utilize the voice command, automatically select one of the plurality of voice controllable systems, generate an indication of the selected one of the plurality of voice controllable systems, receive, from the at least one input system, confirmation of the selected one of the plurality of voice controllable systems, and execute the received voice command at the selected one of the plurality of voice controllable systems when the confirmation is received.
