A carton for packaging one or two layers of flanged tubs. The bottom panel is formed from adhesively connected overlapping flaps which contain cutouts. Lower portions of the tubs extend through openings in the bottom panel formed by the cutouts. Tabs foldably connected to the inner overlapping bottom panel flap prevent adhesive from contacting the tubs and also strengthen the bottom panel. When two layers of tubs are packaged support flaps connected to the side panels extend between the stacked tubs of the upper and lower layers.

This relates to a multicell carrier which is advantageously formed from two separate generally rectangular blanks as opposed to a single generally L-shaped blank. By forming the carrier from two separate blanks, each of which is generally rectangular, a maximum board usage may be obtained and at the same time board is available, without waste, for forming handle reinforcing flaps. In addition, by providing two separate blanks and effecting the simultaneous folding of the two blanks, although the two blanks must be joined in the forming of a carrier, greater glue and folding speed is obtainable as compared to the forming of a like carrier from a single L-shaped blank. A particular feature of the carrier is that a body blank is provided which will not form the entire body of the carrier and a combined divider and handle blank will be provided with a body panel which will be joined to opposite ends of the body blank to complete the carrier body and at the same time provide a secure connection between the two blanks.

Multicell carrier and method of forming the same

This relates to tamper resistant cartons wherein the outermost closure flap is provided with a sealing flap of which at least a portion functions as a tuck flap and which tuck flap passes between a front panel and a terminal inner panel with a tuck flap portion being bonded on its inner surface to the outer surface of the inner terminal panel in an inaccessible position whereby the carton cannot be opened without rupturing the same to the extent that tampering would be apparent.

Tamper resistant carton

This relates to a sealed carton formed of paperboard which is provided with tamper indicating features. First of all, the ends of the carton are formed of a combination of partial and full closure flaps and the full closure flaps are provided with weakened areas so that if the closure flaps are attempted to be separated, there will be a rupture of either one or both of the full closure flaps so as to indicate attempted tampering. On the other hand, if an attempt is made to open the carton along the joint between the body panel and the connecting panel, the connecting panel carries at opposite ends thereof closure flaps which are incorporated in the ends of the carton and there is a weakening line arrangement such that rupture of the closure flaps carried by the connecting panel from the connecting panel will occur to indicate an attempt to tamper.

This relates to cartons or packages which are sealed in a manner wherein they cannot be opened no matter how careful one is without giving an indication of tampering. In one form of the invention, an outermost closure panel is provided with a tuck flap which extends down between inner and outer panels of a double wall carton body wall and the inner surface of the tuck flap is bonded to the exterior surface of an inner panel to provide an inaccessible bond. Panels of cartons which are bonded together and have an accessible seam may be provided with an arrangement of weakening lines so that if one attempts to destroy the bond using a knife or razor blade, the exposed outer panel will give evidence of rupturing and thus indicate tampering even though the two panels are later resealed. If desired, the inner of the two panels may also have an arrangement of weakening lines which match that of the exterior panel and the weakening lines may be arranged in rows extending transversely of the panels so that the bonded together panels may be readily torn to effect an opening of the package.
