Synchronization messages may then be broadcast by the plurality of anchors. Then the plurality of anchors may send responses to the synchronization messages. A room consensus may be performed to determine probabilities of obstacles between the plurality of anchors. The plurality of anchors may then send proposals of one or more clusters based on the room consensus. One or more clusters may be formed by the plurality of anchors based on the proposals.

Cluster formation for ultra-wideband time-difference-of-arrival networks

Differentiated time-difference of arrival for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) may be provided. A location tracking information for a venue may be broadcasted. Broadcasting the location tracking information may include notifying a user device that a location information is expected from the user device and providing an entity identity of an entity seeking the location information from the user device. A ranging message may then be received from the user device in response to the user device detecting the location tracking information. A position of the user device on the venue may be determined from the ranging message.

Staggered Multi-User (MU) uplink in an Ambient Power (AMP) Backscatter Device (BKD) group may be provided. A transmitter AP may determine to receive uplink data from an AMP BKD group and then transmit a session initialization message to a receiver AP instructing the receiver AP to receive the uplink data from the AMP BKD group. The transmitter AP may receive an initialization response from the receiver AP indicating the receiver AP will receive the uplink data. The transmitter may transmit an AMP BKD initialization signal to the AMP BKD group indicating to the AMP BKD group to perform scattering without collisions. The transmitter AP may then transmit an excitation transmission for the AMP BKD group to perform scattering.

Techniques for improved peer-to-peer communication are provided. A roaming peer-to-peer device may identify a new access point (AP) and initiate a transition to the new AP. Initiating transition can involve sending, to the new AP, the current peer-to-peer communication schedule for approval and/or negotiating a modified peer-to-peer communication schedule with the new AP. When the roaming peer-to-peer device and the new AP agree on the peer-to-peer communication schedule, the peer-to-peer device may notify its counterpart that it has roamed to the new AP and also notify the counterpart of any updates to the peer-to-peer communication schedule.

P2P continuity during a client roam

A method is performed at a mesh access point (MAP) of a mesh network in which MAPs are configured to communicate with each other over wireless backhaul links. The method includes: receiving, from a first wireless client having a first client address, client traffic destined for a second wireless client having a second client address, the client traffic including a first source address that represents the first client address, and a first destination address that represents the second client address; generating a first obfuscated source address that differs from the first client address; replacing the first source address in the client traffic with the first obfuscated source address; and transmitting the client traffic with the first obfuscated source address in place of the first source address to a next MAP of the MAPs over a wireless backhaul link for subsequent forwarding to the second wireless client.

These techniques include identifying a plurality of STAs for a beamforming group, for transmission to a wireless access point (AP). Techniques herein facilitate a device address rotation management protocol that may be implemented for a wireless local area network (WLAN), which can be used to influence when wireless client devices or stations may rotate their Media Access Control (MAC) addresses, how to perform such rotations, and/or the like. In one example, a method may include providing, by an access point (AP), a first communication indicating that the AP supports a MAC address rotation management protocol; obtaining, by the AP, a second communication from a wireless station (STA) indicating that the STA intends to perform a MAC address rotation; and transmitting, by the AP, a third communication to influence the MAC address rotation of the STA, the third communication comprising a rotation status indicator and timing information.
