Disclosed is an approach that enables generation of parameterized digital tokens for unique tags in, for example, digital payment platforms. The unique tags may be agnostic to accounts, such that they do not require changes to administration or ownership of existing accounts, which may be held at different institutions.

This causes the gradually heating water to enter the basket and agitate the packet, thereby extracting natural coffee oil from the grounds stored within the packet, which creates brewed coffee.

There is provided a multi-ring animal training collar that can be used to restrain the animal or to choke the animal. The unit features a plurality of rings spaced around the periphery of the collar thus facilitating attachment of a leash or other restrain at or near the top of the animal's head. It is possible to produce denim fabric suitable for manufacture into garments that have the look and feel of washed and tumble dried garments, practiced in a relatively simple and quick manner. Denim fabric is treated to raise the warp yarns so that the warp yarns are adjacent the face of the fabric and positioned so that they can be rubbed and abraded to loosen the surface fibers; and then effecting abrading and rubbing of the tips of the warp crimp so as to duplicate the surface abrasion of washing and tumble drying without making a napped or brushed type finish or face. The abrading action may be practiced by sanding utilizing a fine sandpaper in the range of about 50-100 grit, employing a 9-roll T-Ralph sander with 2 to 6 rolls running at a speed of about 50 ydm. The fabric is lightly singed prior to the raising action, and the raising is accomplished by scouring with a blend of phosphated esters; open-width washing through about 5-10 wash boxes at speeds of about 30-80 yards per minute; effecting first and second rope washings of about 15-25 minutes each, the first at about 180.degree. F. and the second at about 140.degree. F.; drying under tension; finishing utilizing wetters and softeners; and Sanforizing.RTM. (compressively shrinking). After the abrading step, the fabric is shrunk to stabilize it to a 0-2 percent warp shrinkage range.

Apparatus for feeding sheets one-at-a-time from the bottom of a stack of sheets. The apparatus includes a conventional suction assembly moveable into contact with the bottom sheet in the stack to attach itself to that sheet, and thereafter moveable away from the stack to carry that sheet toward a utilization device. Although such a feeding system is usually effective, it has been found that the suction assembly will not reliably attach itself to the bottom sheet when that sheet is curled, arched or otherwise deformed even if only to a relatively minor extent. To alleviate this deficiency, the present invention provides a hold-down assembly moveable with the suction assembly to press down against the top of the stack to press out any deformations in the sheets while the suction assembly is operating to ensure that it will reliably attach itself to the bottom sheet. The present invention is particularly designed for use in printing systems to transfer a printing plate from a platemaking section to a printing press section of the system although the invention has general application in a variety of other fields.

Transfer apparatus for receiving a printing plate from a first station in a first horizontal orientation and for transferring the plate to a second station in a second orientation which is both vertical and rotated 90.degree. relative to the first orientation. The apparatus comprises a receptor bin for supporting the plate, which receptor bin is, in turn, supported solely by a single rotatable shaft. By mounting the shaft to the receptor bin at a precise angular orientation, rotation of the shaft about its own axis will carry the receptor bin and the plate supported on it from the first orientation to the second orientation to transfer the plate to the second station.

Apparatus for supporting a sheet of photosensitive material in the image plane of an optical imaging system for exposure thereat. The apparatus includes a first cover plate assembly having a transparent cover plate and a second backing plate assembly including a relatively flexible backing sheet. The cover plate assembly is driven into contact with the backing plate assembly with the photosensitive sheet to be exposed supported therebetween such that an air-tight chamber is defined between the cover plate assembly and the relatively flexible backing sheet. The air-tight chamber is then evacuated through the cover plate assembly, and as it is evacuated, the flexible backing plate will be sucked towards the cover plate assembly and drive the photosensitive sheet into firm contact with the transparent cover plate. By the use of the flexible backing plate, the chamber can be evacuated very rapidly, for example, in two or three seconds. Also, since the photosensitive sheet is not supported against a rigid back plate as in the prior art, an optically flat back surface is not required.
