A toilet plunger storage device includes a fluid-impervious receptacle to receive an elastomeric suction head portion of a toilet plunger and a cover fitted to the receptacle that receives the handle portion of the plunger. The receptacle includes a conical side wall from which a straight-sided cylindrical portion projects upwardly. The cover has a generally conical member at its lower end and an elongate, hollow, tapered tube that projects from the upper end of the conical member. The upper end of the cylindrical portion and the lower end of the cover are configured to engage each other in bayonet-type telescopic fashion to establish a sealing and locking relationship. A first handle extends from the side of the receptacle and a second handle is disposed at the top of the cover. The device can be formed integrally from a conventional plastics material such as high density polypropylene or polyethylene in a single, inexpensive molding operation. Upon being removed from the mold, a single circumferential cut can be made to separate the molded part into a cover and a receptacle. After any undesired flashing has been removed, the device is ready for service.

A baby bath tub assembly includes a unitary molded tub having an elongated configuration, and a hammock-like sling suspended longitudinally in the tub to support the baby in the bath water contained in the tub. The sling is formed of an open mesh material that dries rapidly and is machine-washable. A headrest comprising a molded foam cushion and an outer fabric cover is removably fastened to the sling to support the baby's head above water level, while the body is supported by the sling and immersed in the water. The foot end of the tub is provided with a drain opening and plug to facilitate removal of bath water after bathing. The tub also include an integrally formed flange extending continuously thereabout. The sling is supported by a pair of tubular rods secured in hemmed sleeves extending along opposed ends of the sling. The tub includes a pair of laterally opposed, integrally formed slots to releasably secure the rod at the foot of the sling within the tub At the head end of the sling the rod is removably secured under the flange in molded brackets, so that the head end of the sling is higher than the foot end to raise the baby's head. The sling may be provided with gussets, hems and other gathering to shape the sling in accordance with the shape and size of a baby, so that the sling cradles and supports the baby safely and comfortably.

A baby carrier 10 having on its underside an integral pair of rockers 12 with a wedge shape pouch 13 detachably secured between the rockers, and having a support handle 14 rotatably connected to the sides of the carrier by a pair of pivots 15 which can be locked in various positions for use of the carrier to carry a baby, as a rocker, or as a chair.

A positioning device for a car seat indicates when the car seat has been properly positioned in an automobile or on a shopping cart. The positioning device includes a paper backing which is encapsulated in a plastic housing. The plastic housing includes a relief projection in the shape of an arc. A ball slides within the relief projection and against the paper backing. Printed information on the paper backing indicates when the seat is in the proper orientation according to the position of the ball.
