A liquid powered device, including a housing assembly configured to be worn on the wrist of a user. The housing assembly includes a front portion and a back portion. A liquid tank assembly is secured within the housing assembly. The liquid tank assembly has a fluid inlet. A power assembly is secured within the liquid tank assembly. An electronic module assembly is secured within the liquid tank assembly. The power assembly is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet to provide filling of the power assembly. The power assembly and the electronic module assembly are each separately liquid sealed. A pressure relief assembly is positioned within the liquid tank assembly for relief of undesired pressure therein.

Systems and methods for data snapshot replication are disclosed. In an exemplary implementation, a method for data snapshot replication may include inserting a token into a replication link when a data snapshot is generated at a source. The token may be inserted into the replication link while input/output (I/O) operations are quiesced. The method may also include generating the data snapshot on a target in an order that the token is received. This enables systems which are replicating data to also replicate or duplicate snapshots without transferring additional data or re-transmitting the data in the snapshot.

Systems and methods for generating digital images having image meta-data combined with the image data are provided. Briefly described, one of many possible embodiments is an image capture device for generating digital images having image meta-data combined with the image data. The image capture device may comprise image capture hardware configured to capture an image and logic configured for: generating a digital representation of the image, the digital representation comprising image data; applying at least one predefined image analysis algorithm to the digital representation of the image, the at least one predefined image analysis algorithm identifying meta-data corresponding to the image; and combining the meta-data corresponding to the image with the image data to define new image data.

The present invention provides a method and system for optimizing the time required for scanning a document with any conventional scanner. More specifically, the present invention will utilize calibration information from the initial power-up calibration or any other calibration, and the information from any previous scans to expedite or eliminate the need for future calibration requests. This process will save time for the user to obtain an optimal scan and increase the operable life span of the scanner by eliminating many repetitive scan cycles.

An event bookmarking device detects input signals corresponding to events of interest, generates event bookmarks in response to receiving the input signals so that the event bookmark identifies the event of interest, and broadcasts the event bookmarks. An image data manager collects the captured images from at least one image capture device, receives a specified event bookmark, and identifies from the plurality of captured images those captured images that correspond to the specified event bookmark. An image data manager identifies captured images that correspond to the specified event bookmark based upon the time stamps and the event bookmark time.

One embodiment comprises a means for storing the content information in a memory, a means for communicating the content information to a digital image capture device, and a means for receiving a request such that the content information is communicated to the digital image capture device when the request is received. Another embodiment comprises a means for communicating a request signal such that the content information manager provides the content information upon receiving the request signal, a means for receiving the content information from the content information manager, and a means for displaying the content information on a display residing on the digital image capture device.

A system and method provide users the ability to quickly and efficiently transfer images from a scanner to an online web page. In particular, the system can be implemented as follows. A scanner scans an image in order to generate a scanned image. A transferring mechanism takes the scanned image generated by said scanner, and transfers the scanned image to a web device for storage. The web device is located on and accessed by a network. The web device manages and stores scanned images.

The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for computing CRC codes for fixed length page buffers of user data where the user data arrives from a transmission device in variable length packets with the packet contents being out of sequential order. The received data is written to a storage device after being restored to the correct sequential order. The data packets are comprised of a header portion and a data portion. The transmission and compression methods commonly employed by the transmission device dictates that the header portion of each packet follows the data portion. The present invention computes a complete CRC code for the data stored in a page buffer in real time as the packets are received by using several registers for saving intermediate CRC codes and circuitry to combine partial CRC codes for those packet portions received out of order. Additional circuitry is provided which reorders the data packet portions received out of order back into sequential order as the data is stored in a page buffer memory in real time. Computing the CRC codes in real time permits the saving of costs associated with other approaches that significantly buffer the incoming packets to permit subsequent reordering and CRC computation. The present invention assures data integrity of data from the time it is received from the compression unit until the time it is sent to the storage device. In addition, the present inventions ability to compute the CRC codes real time maintains optimal performance of data throughput of the storage subsystem. The present invention alleviates problems relating to delaying new data packet transmissions as deferred CRC computations are performed on previous packets reordered in temporary buffer memory.
