A cleaning composition for a hard surface is disclosed which provides for initial cleaning of the hard surface and provision of a hydrophilic coating or barrier layer on the surface which provides residual cleaning to the hard surface for an extended number of rinsings. The composition includes a hydrophilic polymer, at least one nonionic surfactant, at least one solvent, an acid and water, wherein the acid provides the composition with a pH of about 2 to 3.5 and the composition is provided in the absence of any anionic, cationic or amphoteric surfactant.

Hard surface cleaner with extended residual cleaning benefit

Disclosed herein are burnable air treatment chemical dispensing substrates, such as mosquito coils, in which wax is incorporated. In one form the wax portion is a separate coating layer in which the air treatment chemical is also placed. This permits the underlying base to be dried without loss of air treatment chemical. Methods for forming such coils are also disclosed.

Wax treated burnable dispensing substrates

Methods and systems for inducing an electric charge in a cleaning sheet for cleaning and removing particles from a surface are disclosed. The systems include a cleaning sheet for collecting and retaining the particles and a charging surface configured to frictionally engage the sheet. The cleaning sheets typically have a basis weight of at least about 30 g/m . The system may include a container for housing and dispensing the cleaning sheet. When the sheet is passed across the charging surface, the electrical charge in the sheet is generally increased by at least about 500 V. Methods of and kits for cleaning surfaces and collecting and retaining debris are also disclosed.
